The Doctor ran frantically around the TARDIS console, flipping switches and pulling levers where necessary.

He could hardly believe that after tearing his gaze from Clara for one second, she had been taken by the Master. And to make matters worse she had disobeyed him by wandering off.

Do not wander off was the number 1 rule when traveling with the Doctor but once again, he was stuck with a companion who couldn't do what they were told!

With a final wheezing groan, the TARDIS landed close to where Clara should be.

Despite the urgency of the situation, the Doctor paused a moment to adjust his bow tie before opening the TARDIS doors and stepping out onto a busy London street.

Cars blared from the road and tourist stopped to take photos of the iconic police box.

The Doctor frowned, puzzled.

The Master wouldn't have taken Clara to Baker Street in London of all places.

The Doctor laughed slightly, and made his way back to the TARDIS, talking to himself and the tourists in his way.

"Excuse me, must dash, excuse me!"

The Doctor paused outside the box and took a quick look around to see if anyone was watching him.

Someone was.

A tall man with curly black hair watched him curiously from across the street, then looked away in agitation.

The Doctor laughed excitedly.

It couldn't be him, could it?

He rubbed his hands together and walked towards him, dodging cars a people alike as he made his way towards Sherlock Holmes.

"Hi, hello, you wouldn't be Sherlock Holmes would you?"

"I am, but I'm afraid I can't talk now, I have an important investigation on."

The Doctor laughed again and looked around to show Clara the living legend when he remember she wasn't with him, and his face fell.

"You have lost a dear friend, and quite recently too by the looks of things. You're a traveller and either you don't know what you're wearing or you don't care. Probably the latter, as you seem awfully confident for someone wearing a bow tie."

"Eh?" asked the Doctor grinning foolishly. "That was brilliant!" he laughed again.

Sherlock sighed.

"What do you want. My friend's missing and I need to find him before Moriarty does. Unless he has got him already."

"John's missing too? Right, right yes okay. How about a deal? I will help you find John and in return I get to show you something."

Sherlock pondered this for a minute.

"What will you show me? Probably something you created, judging by the proud expression on your face?"

The Doctor grinned like a madman.

"Geronimo."
