There was no doubt about it. Instead of splashing down onto the dying flower beds below, the rain was pelting upwards, some drops smashing against the window, most flying up into the stormy sky. The whole house lurched suddenly, sending Kasey flying. Her guitar fell with a bang, and the family's extensive library was a cacophony of loud thumps, each book falling one after another. Then the room spun and Kasey blacked out.

When she woke, she wasn't in her room anymore.

She was on the moon.

The girl sat up with a groan.

"What the..." Kasey was speechless at her surroundings; grey dusty fields and large craters stretching onwards as far as the eye could see.
