It's my cousin's birthday today, so... Comment which month you're born in! :)

"I'll be moving to Paris! For good," she smiled, gasps filled the air, and a repetitive choir of 'what's followed not far behind

"I decided to move to Paris to become successful, and not just because my parents own Nelson Lawyers. I want to succeed on my own, and I've already got my goals planned out," she explained.

"So that's why Niall's been distant recently," Liam says in understanding

Poor Niall, Jade thought. Without realising it, her eyes had slowly become glossy. It wasn't until the first tear streamed out that she realised she was on the verge of full on crying.

She watched as he stood beside her, completely emotionless as she announced her departure. He didn't seem fazed one bit, instead, he kept his glare on the ground.

Once Jesy had finished talking, Jade watched as Niall dismissed himself from the party to go upstairs. And after only a few minutes, Jesy followed behind.

Niall fiddled with the old puppet which contained so many memories of his childhood

"You still have it?" Jesy said in astonishment

"How could I not, you gave it to me," Niall replied before sighing, he was seated on the corner of the bed whilst Jesy was standing by the doorway

"That was when you stopped calling me 'sis'," Jesy reminded him, before sitting beside him

"You're abandoning me again! Just like before!" Niall exclaimed, he threw the puppet in the trash can in frustration

"If there's anything here I can't leave, it's you, Ni" Jesy said, putting her hand on his arms in an attempt to soothe him

"Just because you pity me, doesn't mean you have to lie," Niall spat, pulling away his arm from her grasp

"If I were lying I wouldn't be so bothered by you looking at someone else," Jesy replied, her gaze stuck on the ground

"Who? Who was I looking at besides you?" Niall asked, almost demanding

"Jade. When you ran to her at the other party, I felt my heart drop, isn't that funny?" She asked laughing humorously

"That's weird. After treating me like your toy for the past fifteen years I only saw you, and that's not enough? I'm only human as well," Niall said, his voice cracking

"I'm sorry, Ni," Jesy apologised, pulling him into a hug, Niall however, stayed silent.

Jesy slowly pulled away, and in return, Niall smashed his lips against hers, his tongue roamed around her mouth, savouring the familiar sweet yet mildly sour taste of strawberry candy which she had always loved to eat along with the minty after taste of his spearmint lolly, his tongue fought against her own as they competed for dominance. Jesy raised her palm and placed it on his cheek, slowly caressing his cheek.

Jade gasped at the sight and quietly closed the door. She ran to the end of the hallway and started to beat her head into the wall

"If you collapse here, it'll be really embarrassing." A deep voice said from behind her

"Shut up," she snapped as she heard footsteps from the end of the corridor, she quickly hurried off back to the party but wasn't exactly fast enough

"Jade?" Jesy asked

"Yeah?" she replied slowly turning around. Idiot! you got yourself caught! she thought

"What are you doing here?" she asked out of plain curiosity

"Got lost," Jade shrugged

"Oh, well Niall and I were going to go out for a drive, would you like to come along?" Jesy asked

"N-no thank you," Jade replied, not wanting to third wheel

"We're on our way somewhere too." Harry informs

"Yeah," Jade nodded, wanting to get out of the situation as soon as possibly

"Best be going then, bye Jesy! bye Niall!" he called over his shoulder while placing his arm around Jade's shoulder, Niall watched his hand come in contact with her shoulder but brushed it off as nothing

As soon as the coast was clear, Hatry spoke.

"This is payback for saving me at the pool," he stated glumly

"What? That's like only ten percent of the payback" Jade exclaimed pulling away from him

"Fifty," Harry bargained

"Twenty five," Jade announces and he nods in agreement

"Why is it so empty in here?" Jade asks as she enters the isolated diner

"Because I bought the place for the night. Lets just say it was a romantc gesture, you can shout, cry, scream, rant. or do whatever you want here" Harry stated bluntly, before putting his linked hands behind his neck

"Why the Hell would I want to do any of that?" Jade pondered aloud

"Kiss," he stated

"It's not like I can compete
against her, I'm not pretty, I'm not smart, my family is poor..." Jade listed

"Your figure's not that great either," Harry adds, "and your temper's bad too."

"Fine. How can such a worthless person like me be jealous of her? I don't even have a right to feel jealous." Jade sighed

"You're right about not being special, but you aren't worthless, You have a right," Harry says matter-of-factly

"I reckon if Niall met you before Jesy, he'd like you, for sure. Yeah, your tempers shitty, your family circumstances suck, but you're the first girl that I've actually acknowledged." Harry admits, fiddling with his fork in his fingers before both his and Jade's eyes widen in surprise

"Excuse me," Harry mutters before going to the bathroom, once he entered he begins to fan himself

"Why is it so hot?" Jade questions as she fans herself before gulping down the glass of water.
