The sun to my darkness (Jimin x Reader)

Chapter 4

Y/N POV

After me and my mother's conversation, I decided to head to the training grounds to get a head start. As I was on my way there though, I was met with one of my dear friends Theo. I smiled as he landed on my shoulder. And yes, this best friend is a barn owl named Theo. He started to cuddle into my neck as I continued walking to the training grounds. I even gave him a few pets under the neck, making him wiggle his tail feathers, showing that he was happy and content. When I finally reached the training grounds, Theo took off on my shoulder, flying over to his small perch that we have just for him at the training grounds. I smiled as I walked over to the weapons. ''Alright...which one should it be today?'' I asked myself as my eyes scanned through all the weapons. ''Well I haven't worked with the bow and arrow for a while...'' I said as I picked up the bow, the arrows, and my quiver. I then made my way over to our small archery range we have connected to training grounds.  

Swiftly placing my quiver where it is supposed to be, I grab an arrow, getting ready to practice. I took a deep breath, relaxing my body. I then placed the arrow on the arrow rest on the bow. Then pulling my arm back, waiting to release the arrow. I took one more deep breath as my eyes narrowed slightly. I then suddenly let go and the arrow went flying swiftly towards the target, almost land a bull's eye. ''Damn.'' I say say under my breath as I was so close. But I suddenly stopped, hearing movement to my right. My head jerked in that direction as Theo landed on my left shoulder. My eyes narrowed, looking over the dark figure in the left corner. I know it had to be someone from the pack because no stranger would just make it here without be noticed.

''And who may you be exactly?'' I said as I aimed my bow at the stranger, ready to release the arrow at any moment. ''Well that's some way to treat the Alpha of the Water Pack.'' The figure said as he stepped out of the shadows. He had a slight smile on his face as he walked closer. I slowly put my bow down, realizing how disrespectful I was acting. ''Sorry about that, I was just be alert..'' He nodded.

'' Well being who you are, you should be.'' Of course I'm not surprised. Mostly everyone that is a werewolf knows who I am. With being an elemental and all, people recognize me. ''Oh and I'm Jeon Jungkook by the way'' He said as we walked even closer to me, holding out his hand. I shook it. ''And I'm-'' He cut you off before you could finish. ''You are (Y/N) (L/N), yes I know. You could say you are quite well known to all werewolves'' He said with a smile. That was a bit rude but I shrugged it off. ''So why are you here anyway?'' You asked as you looked back in the direction of the target. But before I did anymore practice, I had to make sure Theo was out of harms way. I suddenly let out a light whistle with a light click, giving him the command to go sit back on his perch. He followed the command, swooping off of my shoulder and gliding over to the perch.

''Well I heard about the fight earlier...and I just happen to see you entering the training grounds. I guess you could say I was curious.'' He said with a smile. I sighed at the thought of the fight. ''Well-'' I was cut off again but it was not Jungkook but by my father. He walked in with Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jimin behind him. I looked away as soon as I saw Jimin walk in, feeling my heart began to beat faster.My father walked up to me with a smile on his face. I smiled back at him. ''Alright, lets start on your training for today, and since you seem to already have a weapon chosen we can get started.'' I nodded to him as I got ready to aim. He straightened my arm a little and gave me a few pointers. I took a deep breath before releasing the arrow. It swiftly glided through the air, hiding the bull's eye exactly. I heard my dad clap as normal but I heard three other men clap as well.  I gave a slight smile, being proud of myself. 

''Well done (y/n)'' My father said to me. But suddenly my father's beta came into the room, Branden was his name. He whispered something into my father's ear. I could see my father's face twist into an expression of slight worry hearing his beta's words. My father nods back to his beta, thanking him for the information he had just received. ''I'm sorry my Moon princess but I'm going to have to cut this short..'' He said placing his hand on my shoulder. ''It's alright dad..I know you have things to do as Alpha.'' I said in understanding. He nodded, letting his hand go as well as giving me a slight smile. But even behind that smile, I can still see worry in his eyes. 'I hope everything is ok..' you thought to yourself. 

Putting the bow back where is was, you realize everyone had left exempt for a certain someone. Theo landed on my shoulder seeing that I was done.  ''May I ask why you are still here?'' You say not looking away from the bow you had just placed down. Jimin stayed where he was leaning against the wall, staring at me. Starting to feel my face heat up, you didn't want him to see you like this. You could also see that Theo was starting to ruffle his feathers defensively. I pet him on the cheek to calm him down, which he thankfully did. 

''Well I just wanted to say that I look forward to see you at school tomorrow'' Jimin had said with a smile as he made his way out of the shooting range. Sighing, you also make you way out, signaling for Theo to fly free as he wants until tomorrow. Heading home to see that the sky was starting to fall dark. Making your way to the front door, you open it and walk upstairs, going to your room. Jumping to your bed, you face plant into your soft pillows exhausted for all the emotions you have running through your mind. ''Now to just see what awaits for me tomorrow..'' You said to yourself as you quickly fell asleep.
