Y/N POV
The fight thankfully ended. I had hurt my right shoulder but other than that I was alright. Some of my pack mates happened to hear the commotion and ran over to us. I mind linked them and told them what had happened. They listened to me and brought back clothes for all of us to change into. Let's just say that after what happened my father happened to over hear and all hell broke loose. My father came quickly to check on me. He hugged me, thankful that I was mostly okay. I winced slightly as he hugged me tightly. He quickly backed away noticing I was hurt. ''(Y/N), what's wrong?'' he asked with a worried expression. ''My right shoulder, it hurts but I'm alright.'' I said with a smile, trying to reassure him. He nodded as he looked over at Devin and Jimin. My father quickly walked over to Jimin, quickly grabbing a hold of his neck. ''No father! He isn't the one to blame!'' I yelled quickly as I tried to rip my father's hand from Jimin's neck. My father quickly let go, releasing Jimin's neck and allowing him to breath. He fell on his knees from lack of oxygen. I got on one knee and helped him up, letting him lean on me as he regained his balance. ''I'm so sorry about this Jimin..'' You said with pain in your voice.
He looked over, giving you a half smile as he let go of you, being able to stand again. You nodded as you listened in to the conversation Devin and my father were having. But it was honestly something that I could not over hear as my father was practically screaming at Devin. Well I'm not sorry for him. That little prick deserved it.
''For what you have done, I might as well just banish you now!'' Devin's face turned to shock and horror. Those who were banished from their pack became rogues, where they were never heard from again. It was the worst punishment you could receive. Devin quickly bowed. ''Please don't! I admit my mistake! It will never happen again.'' My father grabbed him by the ear, pulling his ear close to his mouth. ''I sure hope to hell it doesn't.'' He let out a deep growl as he released Devin's ear. I swear if his ears were anything like a wolf's right now. They would be all the way back in submission. My father then looked back at Jimin. ''Please excuse me of grabbing a hold of your neck, I am just extremely protective of my daughter.'' My father said with a slight bow.
''No, I completely understand it was just a misunderstanding.'' He said with a warm smile. ''Well. perhaps we should get talking about that meeting you came all this way for'' My father said, letting out a slight chuckle. Jimin nodded. ''As the alpha of the Sun Pack, I would be rather happy to do that.'' My father nodded back at Jimin as he began to follow behind him. They then made their way back to my father's office but right before Jimin came out of view, I could have sworn I saw him look back at me for a split second. Making chills run down my spin as well as make my face blush just a little. But all of a sudden, I felt hands be put on my shoulder. I quickly turned around, thankfully seeing my mother but she had a worried expression plastered on her face.
''I'm alright mother..'' I said, giving her a warm smile. ''Oh (Y/N), I was so worried. As soon as I got the message I ran over here as quickly as I could.'' Her face started to tear up but I wiped them away with my finger. ''Well I'm still breathing..'' I said with a slight laugh, trying to get her to cheer up. ''Yes....and I'm so thankful for that. I know you are truly stronger then Devin but I was just so worried.'' She said, looking me in the eye and removing her hands from my shoulders. ''Alright well lets get you cleaned up shall we?'' She said with a hint of sarcasm, leading her way back to our apartment complex. Before we left though, I realized Devin was just gone. I thought I had not even seen him leave. I shrugged it off as I quickly followed behind my mother.
As we reached our apartment, I had realized something a bit different. Like someone new has stepped foot in here. ''Hey mother?'' I asked as I followed her into the kitchen.''Yes dear?'' She said as she was grabbing things out of the cabinets and the fridge. ''Did someone come to visit? Because I can smell a new scent..'' My mother quickly laughed. ''Oh that nose of yours always knows when something is up, huh?'' she said with a laugh. I smiled. ''So, what's the news?'' She stopped what she was doing, placing every thing on the counter. ''Well...ummm..'' Her face started to look nervous. ''Come on mom, you can tell me anything'' I gave her a smile, looking her in the eye. She then nodded. ''The Alpha of the Lightning Pack came here to ask for your hand in marriage..'' My facial expression turned to one of slight shock, making my eyes widen.
''Wait What?!? Mom! I haven't even finished my last year in high school let alone even met this person before!'' I yelled with panic, trying to process what she had told me. ''I know...and that is why I declined. Knowing you, you would have never agreed to it.'' I let out a sigh of relief. ''But..'' I quickly gulped realizing that there will always be a 'but' in any kind of conversation like this. ''I would like to have grand kids before I turn fifty.'' I rolled my eyes. ''Mother, I don't even have a boyfriend.''
''I know, and that's why I made a list of suitable candidates.'' She then continued her work in the kitchen. I was about to say something but I held my tongue, realizing that no matter what I say it won't change her mind. ''Okay then where is this list exactly?''
''Glad you asked..'' She said as she pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket, handing it to me. I grabbed it and just scanned through the names. But suddenly one name in particular caught my eye. Park Jimin was the name written on the list.
