Quickly arriving at the pack hospital, I rush into the my mother's hospital room. Walking over to my mother's bedside, I look up to see my father. Sitting down in a chair with one hand covering his face.

''I came as quickly as I could. What happened?!'' Panic and adrenaline very easily showing in my voice. My father looks up, meeting eyes. He takes a deep breath before getting up and walking over to me. Putting a hand on my shoulder, it makes me more impatient to know what happened. '' She was attacked.'' My eyes slightly widen. ''By who?'' I say as my heart starts to beat faster out of pure horror.

'' We don't exactly know. I have a few pack members following their trail.'' My father says as he looks down at his wounded mate, sadness and pain clearly showing in his eyes as well as a flame of anger slowing burning brighter by the minute. Looking down at my mother, I notice more and more bandages on her then before. I couldn't help but let a few stray tears escape me. Wiping them away, my father opens his arms, embracing you in a hug. Hugging him back, my eyes flash yellow as my wolf also mourns. Slowly breaking away from my father, I look up at him and then back at my mother.

Looking at her with sad eyes, I gently grab a hold of her hand and just hold it for comfort. Taking a long needed deep breath I didn't know I needed, I grab my phone out of my pocket to text Claire. Clicking the button to turn on my phone, I had many unread texts messages from Claire. Quickly unlocking my phone, I finally reply to her worried texts. My phone buzzes, quickly getting a reply back from her. I smile at how comforting she is. I mean, she always has been.

Thinking back, you remember that you have been best friends with her since before you could even walk. She had always understood me and given me good advice. Replying back to her, I explain everything that happened since the time I arrived at the pack hospital. Looking down to see that I was still holding my mother's hand, I squeeze lightly and then gently let go.  I take another deep breath as I look over at my father, letting him know that I'll be at the training grounds if he needed me.

He asked why but I decided not to answer. Not even through mind link. I could tell he was scared as to what I was going to do. To be honest, I was too. Speed walking over to the training grounds, I just barely hear Theo flying near by. A little bit later, Theo finally lands on my left shoulder. He leans in, nuzzling into me. Giving me comfort that I felt I really needed. As I'm about turn a corner I stop, getting a small whiff of a certain someone. Stopping, the person that I didn't have a want in the world to see comes into view. Devin. I sigh in irritation as he slowly stops in front of me. ''Look Devin, if this is about yesterday. Just forget it because I have too much going on right now to deal with it and you.

''No, that's not it. We need to talk.'' Just hearing him talk in a serious tone makes me just want to laugh. I attempt to walk past him but of course, he blocks my path. Narrowing my eyes slightly, my patience starts to wear thin by the minute. ''Ok Devin, what exactly do we need to talk about?'' I say with very clear irritation and anger in my voice. Theo watches Devin carefully as he can sense my emotion and death stares from me. ''We need to talk about who attacked your mother.''

Just hearing the key words of what he was saying quickly made me look over and pay attention. I could feel my eyes almost turning yellow with anger. ''I swear, if you are the one who hurt her. I will murder you. Right here. Right now.'' A slight growl escapes me as I watch Devin's movements. ''No, I am not the one who attacked her. But I may know who.'' The yellow color in my eyes slowly fade as I look Devin in the eye. ''And who might this person be?'' I say with slight suspicion. Because knowing Devin, he could be completely lying to me.

''Your older brother.'' I tilt my head in confusion.

''Umm Devin...I don't have an older brother...''  I say, resisting to say that he is stupid and dumb to his face.

''No Y/N, you have an older brother that your parents never told you about...that's all I'm going to say..'' I stare at Devin questionably but I have nothing rude or sarcastic to reply to what he said. I look to Theo, almost as if he was going to say something. Sighing, I look to Devin one last time before turning on my heels to heading back to the pack hospital. Wanting to find out what Devin said is true, drove me to speed walk there. On the way there though, Theo headed off to do his own thing. And because owls were not allowed in the hospital wing. Only because owls could be carrying anything. So it's best to keep the sick and wounded out of reach from them till the get better.

Arriving in my mother's hospital room yet again, I quickly walk over to my father. Not wasting anytime I just blurt it out. ''Do I have an older brother?''

His eyes slowly widen. ''So it's true? I do have an older brother?!'' I say with slight frustration as he was not answering me. '' Y-yes...'' He says, with shock in his voice. ''What..who told you?!'' He says slowly standing up.

''That's not important.'' I say with both sadness and anger in my eyes as I look into my father's eyes. ''I can't believe you never told me that I had a long lost brother..''

''Please let me explain myself before you get any angrier.'' He says in a stern tone, making me freeze in place. My anger filled eyes stared into is cold looking ones. I finally nod and sit down, looking away from him. I hear him sigh as he sits back down in his seat.

''3 years before you were born..I had banished your older brother for betraying me.''

And this was only the beginning of a long story that would explain so much through out my life.
