In a society that profits from self doubt, and finds order in having a social hierarchy any form of self confidence and independence is looked down upon. But following this cycle isn't necessary, it's not even required. Every single being has something that makes them unique, something that makes them different from everyone else. And every being deserves to feel confident and comfortable with who they are.
So I guess this leaves one question
Will we create a society that can see everyone's worth?
