She flew away.
Away from this being and away from this road.
She flew away.
Wings taking flight as my visions corrode.
Into the sky;
Will she ever return?
Into the sky.
Slowly beginning to burn.
Tried to escape.
Realizing regret is one soon to follow.
Tried to escape.
Tears flooding our chambers as hearts remain hollow.
Now I'll depart.
Flying, spiraling, falling and dying inside.
Now I'll depart.
Stepping away from your tortuous pride.
Together we hurt.
Circling, weeping, searching for us.
Together we hurt.
Lonely, distant, needing your lust.
Love and deceit.
Two different species colliding in air.
Love and deceit.
A fine line between nothing and care.
An honest change.
You could have flown back and gracefully landed.
An honest change;
Would have been better than leaving me stranded.
She flew away.
Away from my presence and away from this road.
She flew away.
