Chapter 12: Free

Today was the day that everyone found out whether Princeton was a free man or not.

Rosaline woke up at around 7:30. She was still wearing the same outfit from last night. I rolled herself out of bed and walked into her bathroom. She turned her shower on and stripped out of her clothes. She stepped into the shower and let the warm water pour down her skin. She sqeezed cherry blossom scented body wash into a wash cloth and began to rub it all over her body. She rinsed it off and washed her hair. After 20 more minutes in the shower she turned the water off and walked out of the bathroom with towel wrapped around her body and her hair. She walked into her closet snd pulled out a high waisted red skirt with a white crop top and a black blazer. She got dressed and pulled the towel of her head. She blow dried her hair and put it into a tight bun. She put on some mascara and dark red lipstick. She slipped on a pair of black 6 inch heels and walked down into the kitchen. She grabbed her house keys walked next door to Princeton's house. She knocked on the door until Princeton answered.

"Hi", Rosaline nervously said when she recounted the events from the night before

"Princeton......hello........are you ok", she said as she waved her hand infront of his face

He just continued to stare at her with his mouth wide open. She walked closer to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm glad that it didn't have anything to do with me, but i'm still upset that we couldn't finish what we started", he said as he licked his lips and rubbed up and down her thighs

"Then take me", she said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him to one of the bathrooms

They walked in and shut the door making sure that they locked it this time. He pushed her back against the sink and started kissing and sucking on her neck. Everyone followed and got into ray's car. The car ride was silent. Princeton just looked out the window while Rosaline held his hand and kept her hand down. They finally arrived at the courthouse and saw the usual swarm of reporters. They got out of the car as Rosaline held Princeton's hand. They were bombarded by the usual questions until they finally pushed themselves into the courthouse. Princeton gave Rosaline a quick kiss on the cheek before walking to his lawyer.

They walked in and sat down. They waited for what seemed like hours until Princeton and his lawyer walked in followed by the prosecutor. The judge walked in a few minutes later and took a seat. He banged his gavel to bring the court to order.

"It has been brought to my attention that there was an electrical fire at the federal building where all the evidence for this was held. The evidence that was presented to me were all circumstantial, and i need more than coincidences to send a young man to prison for the rest of his life. So unless there is any evidence that points directly to that young man for the murder, I will be ruling this case as a mistrial", the judge said

"The fuck you mean this is a mistrial....He fuckin' killed my girlfriends and you want to let him get away with it!!!!!" Roc screamed as everyone turned their attention to him

"Order... order in the court room", the judge said as he banged his gavel

"Court officer, remove that man from my court roomimmediately"

The court officer grabbed Roc and had to wrestle him to the ground. They placed handcuffs on him and dragged him out.

"The court is now over the" he said while banging his gavel for the last time

Everyone ran to Princeton to give him a hug. Princeton said thank you to his lawyer and walked out of the court room with his friends and family.
