Anxiety was potent in the young witch as she sped to Mystic Falls. She had hours and once they were gone, her best friend and... Well, just Damon, she had no one. Only the recorded memories of a sociopath and teenage girl.

Bonnie felt guilty for leaving her there, back in Portland. She believed if she tried hard enough, she could revive Kai's only weakness. However, she had cast many spells such as that. And from her grams, she already had the consequences branded in her mind.

Every now and then her eyes would flicker to the cam-corded in the passenger seat. Maybe it was childish but, Bonnie felt like it would just disappear. It was the only thing allowing her to keep her wits as well as sanity.
