Beastly Chapter 27 18 candles no one to wish for
It had been a week since Elena had turned her emotions off, a week since their house burned down and this week marked June 16th Bethan's 18th Birthday. Bethan was actually excited for today for once one day could be about her. Granted she had no family to share it with but she had Matt, Caroline and Bonnie that was all that mattered. Bethan got changed into her cheer uniform ready for today's competition. She walked in to the gym meeting Caroline and Elena.
"beth hey what are you doing her?" Caroline asked her, Bethan was confused by the answer.
"I'm here to cheer remember I am on the squad?" The werewolf replied she was quite shocked her best friend didn't even wish her happy birthday.
"Yeah about that you haven't been so School all week, and Elena asked for her spot back so I thought you wouldn't coming today and-" Bethan cut Caroline off raising her eyebrows the blonde.
"what are you trying to say Caroline" The brunette wanted to jump to the chase and Elena used this as a excuse to slip away.
"I'm saying we reworked the routine and your not in it" Caroline started to feel a little guilty although Bethan wouldn't admit it she enjoyed cheering.
"don't worry I totally get" Bethan smiled and the blond let out a sigh of relief.
"I don't matter, no one cared I went missing for two days, no has asked me how I'm coping with being a werewolf, no one has bothered to see how I'm doing with Jeremy's death but god forbid Elena wants to be a cheerleader again so everything gets dropped for that" Bethan spat at her best friend as she started to walk off only for Caroline to chase her.
"Bethan come on you know it's not like that" the vampire tried to grab her friend only for her to dodge Caroline's attempt.
"everyone is all ways to busy to even remember me" the werewolf simply stated shrugging her shoulders.
"that's not true your acting like a brat Beth" that one took Bethan by surprise.
"I'm a brat really, Caroline what's the date to day" the blonde thought about it and that's when her eyes widened
"oh my god Beth I'm-" the vampire was cut off.
"next up lady timberwolves" the announcer spoke over Caroline.
"Looks like that's your cue, break a leg or your neck" Bethan pushed passed her out of the school.
