Braces-DISCONTINUED

Back to the oral.... again.

It was another day at school. 30 minutes before the bell. One fight, 2 arguments, 1 set of drama, and one heartbreak. At the end of school everything is usually sorted out. I was sitting by the corner my friends and I usually meet up, but no one was there. Usually I was 5th, after the Monthly quads (April, May, June and July). Since no one was there, I just waited. And waited. And waited. !0 minutes before school. 'Where is everybody?' I thought. They were all taking forever. Finally, 5 minutes before the bell, Adam came rushing down the hill.

Adam: Jennifer! Sorry I'm late. The quads told e to tell you that they're not coming to school today.

Me: K... so what about the Jan twins?

Adam: Oh... I don't know.

Then the bell rang so Adam and I went our separate ways. Adam had English and I had math, so now I'm off.

~In math class~

Mrs. Bella: Ok students! Sit down, roll call, say your names out loud, then we will get started.

Girl 1: Alisha!

Girl 2: Mayryanne!

Boy 1: Josh!

And it went on and on and on until we were done, so we got started.

Mrs. Bella: Ok everyone! Pop quiz!!! After you are done you made read.

~Time skip to after class~

Brice: Yo Jennifer!

Me: Brice.

Brice: Still remember our little date? *wink wink*

Me: What date?

Brice: The coffee shop date?

Me: Oh I thought that was like a "Hey Jennifer! Let's go to the coffee shop so I can try to impress you because you're so pretty and I want you to be my girlfriend so we can go on an actual date" kind of thing.

Brice: Ya right! That was totally not *I glare at him* You are good.

Me: I know, k bye!

Adam: Jen!

Me: Adam!

I run up and hug him. What? Is it so wrong to hug a man. You hug your father, or your brother, or your cousins that are boys. Adam is like a brother to me. It also helps make things less awkward.

Adam: Gym right?

Me: Yeah.

Adam: Good. Also I have to ask you something...

Me: What...?

Adam: *leans on the locker* do you want to g-

Brice: Go out with me tomorrow?

Adam: *gets up from floor after Brice pushed him* Hey dude what's the big deal???

Brice: Nothing. So what do you say Jennifer?

Me: Uh... sure!?

Brice: K, Adam I need to talk to you *grabs Adam and pulls away*

Me: Adam!

I chase after them because who knows what Brice is going to do to that little thing (don't tell Adam I said that =3)

I chase the two down the halls around corners, close enough but a safe distance away. I hear Brice "whispering"

Brice: Stay away from Jennifer you little pulp, or I'll shred you to pieces.

Adam: No way, she's my best friend!

Brice: Well too bad. You took your pick.

Brice raised his fish to punch Adam in the face. Poor thing, he was stuck. As soo as he went in, I jumped in front of Adam. I thought he would stop, but his reflexes are terrible, so he socked me right in the mouth.

~A few minutes later...~
