In the most candid way possible, we will discuss today the reasons why Napoleon is the only animal in existence within the realms of this farm, becoming and competent of conducting the weight of the leadership it takes to operate such an enormous responsibility. Since Napoleon’s guidance, Animal Farm has prospered economically, socially, and more important than those combined, he has made us a closer and stronger family. Think back to when Jones’ ran this farm; don’t let your brains forget what it was like! Think of how enhanced the farm is now that comrade Napoleon is accountable for taking tremendous care of all of you! I have spent countless hours adding statistics and finding the square roots of the outcomes and my work has pointed us only in Napoleon’s direction. This is scientifically proven comrades! When Snowball was upon these lands with us, as one of us, he instigated much destruction! He told Napoleon personally that he had been on the human side the whole time! And with that evidence, Napoleon got rid of him at once. Look at everything that Comrade Napoleon has done for us as well! The windmill was all his idea, and look how far we have come with it. Could any of you whip up some blue prints for a windmill like that?
In these times we may find it hard to put our trust in just one person, but Napoleon has not failed you yet, and I can assure you, comrades, he will not! And comrades, do you understand what responsibility is? Of course you haven’t, as I have expended innumerable amounts of time reading about it, and teaching myself about it. It has been proven by many mastermind animals, such as our founder, Old Major, Bless His Soul, that only pigs possess this eminence we call “responsibility”. Comrades, has Napoleon failed you? No, he has not. And he has promised to work harder than any other animal on this farm to make sure all of you are fed, and well taken care of! Do you know what he does for you comrades? He makes sure he gives out all of your rations before his own! He would rather see himself starve than all of you, do you know of the pride he has in all of you? In conclusion, my comrades, we need Napoleon. More than just keeping the farm going, he will be your father, your best friend, and your fellow comrade.
