Jonah pov
I sneak one last glance at Elizabeth. There's something different about her I just can't figure it out. As soon as we get to my office Joe starts to question me.
"What is my little sister doing down here?" He swims from side to side of the room. "Joe I have no clue why she's here. I don't pick who turns to a mermaid after death but she's young so maybe she can have a happy life down here in the ocean. You said you never felt like you belonged while on land so maybe Elizabeth feels the same way." Joe stops swimming to look at me. "I wanted her to live a happy life but she went and tried to kill herself." He says angrily. "Joe you can't control what she did. Do you even know the circumstances that lead her to take her own life? This isn't some random teen turned mer here,this is your sister that you left on her own." Joe put his head down in shame. Just like I thought he didn't know anything about his sister. From what I had gathered before Joe never really seemed to care about his sister.
**Elizabeth pov**
After they went to Jonah's office I started to explore again. I've been exploring for 3 hours so far and haven't found Jonahs office. I also haven't swam into anyone yet which is surprising.
