Chapter 5 - Unexpected at "Louis"?

Chapter 5:

"Are you ready!?" Sydney shouted at Mary, Nora, and I.

"Sydney! Calm down! You are not helping me." I said as calmly as I could. The butterflies in my stomach were squirming again.

"Kajal, your feet are shaking and you fingers are twirling your hair." Mary said with a disapproving look.

"Sorry!" I said. However, I couldn't stop. My friends had discovered in 7th grade that my feet would shake uncontrollably and my fingers would twirl my hair whenever I was nervous. I had run off the stage during the "Snow White" play. Ever since then, they always tried to calm me down before these fits started. But today, it was too late.

"Kay, calm down. We haven't even left yet." Nora said.

That soothed me more, and eventually I had stopped.

I threw on red skinny jeans, a blue striped shirt, and my favorite red pair of Toms. I grabbed my phone on my way out. Sydney was wearing short white shorts and a blue flowy tanktop with a necklace and other accessories. Mary was wearing a pink floral skirt with a white shirt. She wore her black flats which tied the outfit together. Nora had on skinny jeans and a cute orange blouse. My three best friends were going to drop me off at Souli's flat. Then, they were going to a friend's party. (Outfits on Side >>>)

My phone blinked. Souli had texted me.

FROM: SouLovesMe

Can u bring carrots with u? Please Kazoo! C u soon. Did u get the address i texted u earlier? xx

TO: SouLovesMe

SouLovesMe! really Souli! That is the best name you could come up with! Anyways, ya I got the address. I will c u soon. I don't have time to stop for carrots. Sry! Maybe another time :)

I sent Souli the text message.

I laughed at the name Souli had put under his contact in my phone. "SouLovesMe? Who does that.." I thought to myself. Syd and Nora got in the back, while Mary drove with me in the passenger seat. I asked her to stop at Safeway so I could run in and grab carrots for Souli, as a surprise. I went into the store and grabbed carrots. At the cash register, I thought of getting the other boys and myself a little treat. I ran to the candy aisle and grabbed 8 chocolate king-sized bars. Then I ran to the popcorn section and grabbed 5 packets of extra buttered popcorn. I hope the boys would like me.

I got back to the car and Mary started driving. In no time, we reached Souli's flat. I was freaking out.

Sydney and Mary pushed me out of the car. However, I was still frozen. They could tell I was having second thoughts. Sydney rolled down the window and said, "Go on Kay! Have fun with the boys. Call me when you want us to pick you up!"

They drove off before I could get back in the car.

With a huge sigh, I walked up to the front door clenching the food bag in my left hand. I used my free hand to ring the bell. Souli opened the door with a huge grin on his face. "Oh my gosh Kajal! You came."

"Of course! I told you I would!" I replied.

"It's just that, we don't really have friends that come and hang out with us." He replied.
