After a long flight I had finally made it down here. It was so much different than where I’d been staying. Sun shining brightly, nice soft breeze blowing, trees swaying gently back and forth. It was like a paradise to me but to others that have grown up here it was just another normal day in California.
As I started walking around I realized maybe my plan wasn’t thought threw very well when I ended up lost in an unknown place. It was much bigger down here, not what I was used to and I wasn’t the best navigator. I finally gave up and decided to call for a taxi to take me to my hotel; they surely had to know their way around.
I thanked my driver, finally reaching my destination. I looked up at the huge hotel that I would be staying in. I checked in at the check in counter and decided to look around a little before going to my room. It was beautiful all around; there was a nice sized pool and hot tub, trees everywhere, a comfortable, peaceful lounge, gym, arcade room, defiantly a paradise. I finally made it into my room and was shocked by what I saw. It all looked so expensive, like a house in just one room. There was a queen sized bed, a flat screen TV with a love seat to the side of it. The room opened up to a little kitchen area and then a master bathroom to the right.
I set my bags on the floor and fell back onto the bed, I smiled up at the ceiling, this was something I could get used to.
