In Love With The Badass (Lauren/You)

Chapter 9

*The day after*

Y/N'S POV

I'm at my locker waiting for Ally

I haven't seen her since last week because she's been sick and got a fever

As I was looking at the school entrance for any sign of the sunshine I get to call my best friend I see Lauren coming towards me with a smile on her face

"Hi cutie" she says hugging me

As I hug her back I hear someone gasp and then a voice

"Oh my gosh, am I dreaming? Or is my best friend hugging the famous Lauren Jauregui? What happened to you?"

I look at Ally with a blush on my face and since I can't seem to form any sentence Lauren speaks for me

"I actually decided to stop flirting with her especially because I understood that it wouldn't bring me to anything and since she's helping me with maths we became friends" she says

I actually like the idea of being her friend (even if I would like to be something more) so I second her words and say to Ally

"Yes, I'm friends with her and it isn't pretty bad" I say with a sarcastic tone at the end

"Hey" she starts to speak but the bell for first period rings signaling us to go to class

"This conversation is not finished" Lauren warns me

"Whatever makes you happy" I sass at her

*Lunch time*

I'm sitting at a bench in the cafeteria eating my lunch with Ally, Lauren, Dinah and Normani

I would never have thought we could get along this well

As we're talking about some music staff I see Lucy Vives coming to our table and sit next to Lauren

She's pretty known in our school, especially for being Lauren's on and off girlfriend

Before any of us can question what's going on they start to make out and I'm sure my heart broke at that sight

I mean, seeing the girl you like kissing another one will make you feel the same way

I stand up and start to go towards the exit of the cafeteria with tears in my eyes

I reach the bathroom and I break down in a crying mess

After a few minutes someone enters and from the corner of my eyes I see Lauren

She sits next to me and starts to stroke my hair

"Why did you ran away?" she asks me in a soft tone

"I-I can't tell you" I answer stuttering

"Come on, you know you can tell me anything"

Our bodies touch each other, our lips a few centimeters away

She starts to lean in as I do the same but before our lips can connect I pull away

"No, I can't do this"

With this sentence I exit the bathroom and run towards the school park

I seat under a tree and the only thing I can seem to think is

"I need to push away this feelings, I'll only get a broken heart if I keep thinking about her, she'll never feel the same way towards me"
