Ma Wang met with the highest of the gods after Son Oh Gong left- knowing he will cause havoc in the Next World just to take Jin Seon Mi away from there. He reasoned out with them that they should at least be grateful of the sacrifices that both Son Oh Gong and Jin Seon Mi did for the humans and the heavens. Ma Wang was even willing to forego his desire to be a deity just to let Son Oh Gong and Jin Seon Mi have a happy ending that they didn't have.
It didn't have to go that far - for the gods, this time were enlightened and were willing to make an exception- they recognized the pureness of Son Oh Gong and Jin Seon Mi's love. A love both willing to sacrifice each other's lives just to save the world. Jin Seon Mi's name was written off from the Book of the Dead-but there were a couple of conditions- that her first born child will be the next Sam Jang and that she can only live a second life after that her name will be written on the Book of the Dead when her time comes- when her human lifespan ends.
Ma Wang was pleased- that crazy bastard will surely be happy, he thought trying to fight back the tears forming in his eyes. He blinked and took his sunglasses off and found flower petals on his arms- he picked it up and smiled.
She is always watching me...Ma Wang smiled at that thought.
