Intertwined Fate:Hwayugi Fanfic One Shot

"Where are you going?" Ma Wang asks Son Oh Gong.

Son Oh Gong halts and turned to look back at Ma Wang.

"I am going to find Jin Seon Mi.." he said with certainty and hope that he will indeed find her wherever she may be.

Ma Wang sighs, he knew how Son Oh Gong is. "Go, your ill-fated destiny was broken. I will be lonely without you here, but I can't afford to see you miserable here either."

Son Oh Gong nodded at him and continued walking towards the door.

Inside his car, he puts on his seatbelt and started the car and smiled..."Wait for me. Whenever you're tired, scared, or in danger, if you call my name I will always go and protect you because I love you."

He drove away to start his journey. A journey towards finding where Seon Mi is. His heart is hopeful- he is assured that he can find her wherever she may be.

Jin Seon Mi opened her eyes and looked around. She sat up. She looked at her hand and saw the ring on her finger. She smiled. She was happy she still has it.

Am I really dead? Jin seon Mi asked herself.

She continued looking around. She was in the middle of a forest where she can only hear the rustling sound of the leaves as the wind blows and the gentle singing of the birds.

Am I in heaven? she asks out loud not really sure if there is anybody else around. She continued walking until she heard a sound of water. Curious, she kept going until she saw it- a river and waterfall. Just looking at it is calming. She saw a big rock and decided to sit, her feet in the water. She looked up as she gets tiny splashes from the waterfall.

She touched her ring and remembered him- he said not to forget him but if she is dead would he still come even if she utters his name. She wasn't sure and hesitated. She has bits and pieces of memory after saying goodbye at the bridge. She felt her cheek wet, not knowing-her tears started to flow. She forced a smile on her lips as she tries hard to remember every bit of memory. The rush of memories unfolded one by one- just like a slideshow- each scene from her life as Jin Seon Mi, as Sam Jang. She smiled, her life was so boring before she met them- especially him. Him, coming to her to life added that certain glow of happiness she never felt before. She loved him eventhough she knew he might have only loved her because of the geumganggo. Still, she was happy that even if she passed away- he proved to her that his love was true, it was his own will, his own heart beating for her in the end. That's what matters, she thought. She's grateful about that- that she knew he loved her beyond the geumganggo. She smiled and closed her eyes. She just wants to enjoy the peace and quiet. Whatever this place is- it is peaceful, calm.

Her mind wanders as she closed her eyes still remembering, then she uttered his name- Son Oh Gong.....
she wasn't expecting anything. Just once, she wants to say his name even just one last time.

Jin Seon Mi smiled, her eyes still closed - the memory of the morning as she looks at him serenely asleep on the bed and the moment he woke up and smiled as soon as he saw her. She sighs, if only she stayed longer, why did she have to leave that fast, how could she leave him looking like that,she asks herself then suddenly felt the sudden warmth on her cheeks. She thought she was just blushing at that thought. She impulsively tried to fan herself and touch her cheek only to feel something else on her cheek. She quickly opened her eyes and looked up.

There he was, with his beaming smile- that adorable grin, those soft lips gently pressed on her cheek. Surprised....No way...she said, How can you?....before she can finish what she is about to say , his lips claimed hers silencing her. Am I going crazy? Am I dreaming?Seon Mi asks herself, her eyes closed but what is this feeling, it feels real? she thought..then slowly the kiss deepens, she feels warm inside, her arms as if they have a mind of their own reached around his neck and pulled him closer, urging him for more. She loves him, she misses him and if this is just a dream she might as well enjoy it. After what felt like eternity, she opened her eyes- her lips pouting as if she was being kissed. She looked around and heard a baby crying and the voice of a man singing softly as if he is hushing him to sleep.

She got up and cleared her eyes, wondering if she is still imagining things, then she heard him..

Honey, are you awake? Heon Wo woke up I think he is hungry, I didn't want to wake you up coz I know you're tired. Were you dreaming again? Was I kissing you perhaps in that dream again? he said teasingly as he sat next to her on the bed, in his arms is a cute baby boy. Heon Wo? Is that the baby's name? our baby?

Hon, you have to feed him. He is hungry...he said as he handed him to her. Don't tell me you've been dreaming that again? I told you to stop reading novels. Sure we might have met in our past lives but what is important is we have each other now. Your dreams- as long as I am there and as long as I am right here next to you that's what matters then he gently kisses her on her forehead.

Was I really dreaming this whole time? Seon Mi thought as she felt his lips pressed on her cheek.

I am cooking ddeokbokki later is that alright? he asks and smiled at her- that oh so familiar smile of his.

Son Oh Gong...she said softly.

He was about to go out of the room and stopped.

Yes honey, do you need anything? he asks.

She nodded, and said, can you kiss me again?

Son Oh Gong smiled, without hesitation he walked back next to her and pressed his lips on hers this time.

Do you want me to put Heon Wo on his crib for a minute? he smiled, his eyes glinting.

Seon Mi nodded, after all he wasn't crying anymore.

If all of it was a dream and this is her reality now, she isn't complaining.

She has a lot of questions but those can wait.

She calls out his name again....Son Oh Gong....saranghae.

And she clearly heard him say, Jin Seon Mi...saranghae.

Their lips met, his arms around her tiny waist pulling her closer to him and share that blissful kiss.
