Liv and Ray walked into The Three Broomsticks, laughing and pushing each other around. They only knew each other for a few hours, yet they felt like they knew each other forever and were meant to be friends.

"Oh my godric Ray, that's hilarious!" Liv giggled so hard that tears came out of her eyes.

"I know! His reaction was amazing." Ray said in between laughs. They found a table for two in the back of the restaurant, laughing as they sat in their seats.

"So, I'm aware that you and Moony met in History of Magic, but how exactly?" Liv asked as she pulled in her chair to the table. She looked at Ray to signal that she was listening.

Ray laughed. "Moony?"

"It's his Marauder name," Liv replied casually. "You know about us Marauders, don't you?"

Ray's eyes went wide open. "That's you? I mean, I've heard things, heard about the pranks, but didn't know it's you and Remus..."

"And James. And Sirius. And Peter! Or should I say Prongs, Padfoot, and Wormtail?" Liv smirked a bit.

"Wow, that's awesome!" Ray exclaimed. "So...what's your Marauder name?"

"Wisp. James came up with it since wisps are kind of always off to the side and quietly observing, but they're still very sly, clever, and mysterious." Liv explained, a smile on her face. "He knows me well."

Ray grinned. "That's a really cool nickname. You should give me one!"

"I'll think about some potential names for you," Liv promised. "But now, i'd like you to explain how exactly you and Remus met!"

"Oh, that's right!" Ray chuckled and adjusted her glasses. "Well, we were in History of Magic, right? And I got really bored so I pulled out one of my favorite muggle books and pulled it onto the desk. Remus sits a few seats away from me, and he was bored too, so he was looking around the room. So he saw I was reading that book and he was like "That book is amazing!" So we just started to have a small conversation about it and we just kind of clicked."

Liv nodded. "That's cool. Wow, you could be his girlfriend if you wanted."

Ray's face turned bright red and she laughed nervously, leaning across the table to hit Liv in the shoulder. "Stop."

"I'm just saying!" Liv mumbled with a smirk on her face.

"So, Remus told me about the whole things with James...You like him?" Ray asked out of the blue.

Liv merely nodded. "Yeah, and I even implied it, but of course he has his head up his arse and won't get over Lily. He's acting normally around me though, so that's a good sign. He's probably forgotten. That's James for you. Maybe I should forget, too."

Ray frowned. "You two would be cute."

"You think?" Liv smiled, nervously putting a strand of hair in front of her face.

"Yes!"

"I'm going to the Ball with Sirius though," Liv pouts. "He said he's liked me since first year. And I kinda like him but I don't know. I'm just so confused."

"I get it. Hey, maybe it'll work out though!" Ray assured Liv, a small smile on her face.

"Maybe." Liv shrugged. "Whatever happens though, I hope Lily and Severus get together. They'd be the cutest couple at Hogwarts."

"I agree! Their bond is so strong and they're so compatible. I can just see it. They act like an old married couple already anyways." Ray chuckled. As did Liv.

Lily heard the last few lines delivered by Ray and Liv, to which she blushed. She could see her and her childhood best friend together, there was no denying that. But she knew it could never happen. She just knew it deep down. Sure, they're going to the Ball together, there's something intimate about that, but Lily thinks it's just another platonic thing and opportunity for the two of them to hang out, which she doesn't mind at all, but it still kind of makes her sad. She sighed at these thoughts, knowing Severus wouldn't approve, and she took a few more sips of her butterbeer.

"Hey, is that Lily over there?" Liv asked Ray and looked over at her.

"Yeah! Invite her over. I share some classes with her." Ray responds, looking over at the red-haired girl.

"Oy! Lily!" Liv called. Lily turned her head to see Liv and Ray.

'Finally.' She thought and walked over to their table, pulling up a chair from a nearby table. It's not like she was waiting for them to notice her, though.

"Thanks for letting me sit with you guys," Lily smiled and took yet another sip of her butterbeer, and it finally ran out.

"Anytime. Why are you here alone?" Ray asked curiously.

"Well, you see, it's a bit of a long story..."
