Chapter Five

I walked out of the Kitchen behind Seokjin. My mind is a mess, my first conversation with my soon to be husband went horribly wrong. I'm pretty sure he hates me now for bringing up his past but I don't know I thought that they were still in the kpop spotlight. None of this makes any sense but I don't want to make anyone worry so I smile. 

"Seems like you two had a nice chat" Mr Kim says

"Ah, of course" Seokjin replied smiling 

He sure does know how to act doesn't he. 

"So we've sorted the wedding plans while you were getting ready Mina" my dad says. 

"Oh great" I start "when is the wedding?" I ask. This is my wedding but I still know nothing about it. 

"You don't even know when it is" Seokjin laughs, I smile sheepishly. "It's on the 23rd" he says flatly 

"Oh my god, that's like two weeks away" I say shocked, I didn't expect it to be so close 

"Exactly" Mrs Kim starts "we can't wait until you join our family" I smile. "Speaking of which" she continues "Jin still needs to propose" she say nudging her son 

"You better hurry up, the engagement party is in a few days" Mr Kim says. 

Wait what an engagement party, my life is planned out and I don't even no what is happening. It's kinda sad but Seokjin will propose soon, he would look so cute on one knee with a ring. Mari snap out of it, you don't want this to happen remember.

Seokjin just laughs at his dad's comment. 

My dad stands up "ah, look at the time I better get back to work" 

Finally I can get out of this situation and go back to being free for a little while longer.

"Come on Mari" he says before bidding his goodbyes to Mr and Mrs Kim and Seokjin. They return the goodbye but before we left Mrs Kim says "it's okay Jin can take Mari home so you can get to work." Mine and Seokjin's eyes widen at the same time .

"What?" Seokjin says "I have work too" 

"No" Mrs Kim starts "you have to help me with dinner and leaving your wife home is the least you can do" 

"She's not my wife yet" Seokjin reminds his mother. 

Ugh am I really that bad? 

I hug my dad and he leaves the house, a minute or two later I hear his car drive off and then the house is silent. 

I look around, it was already awkward and now it's even more awkward. Great. 

"Come on then" Seokjin says with a sigh walking past me to get his coat. 

"What?" 

"I'm taking you home remember" he walks out of the front door. 

"Um thank you Mr and Mrs Kim for everything today" I say with a smile "I really appreciate it" I then rush out the door behind my ride home. I see Seokjin leaning up against his car and God does he look good. 

"Get in" Seokjin says blandly as he gets in the drivers side of the car. 

I do as he says and I open the passengers side door and get into the car, putting on my seat belt. He puts the car into reverse and drives it out of the drive way. Silence filled the car, it was awkward but not the same awkward back at the Kim's family house the was more of a relaxed awkward. 

"So I was famous huh?" Seokjin said randomly breaking the silence. 

"Yeah, you guys were huge" I say "but let's not talk about it, I don't want you to get mad again." 

"Why not talk about it, it's the only thing I know you like so far" he says with a smirk 

"Well your not the only thing I like Kim Seokjin, I like a lot of things like Disney movies, mint chocolate chip ice cream, sleep" I say while counting the items on my fingers. 

He rolls his eyes "ah, vanilla ice cream is the way to go" 

"What? Vanilla is such a boring flavour" 

"It's a classic ice cream flavour Seokjin starts "Just like I'm a classic man" 

I laugh just as he finishes his sentence 

"Ah stop laughing" he tells me 

"I'm sorry" I giggle "your just funny" I see him smile, he's really cute when he's being nice. Then car comes to a stop. "We're here" Seokjin announces. 

"Thank you for driving me home" I say while undoing my seatbelt 

"It's okay" he says "I'll guess I'll see you soon" 

"Yeah, I guess you will" I reply and then get out of the car. I walk up to my front door and I hear Seokjin's car driving off while I'm unlocking my door. My heart kinda sinks for some reason. I step into my house and close the door behind me. 

Today sure is a day that can't be forgotten.
