Chapter 12

It has been at least a month  since Jose told me that he was a father to be since then we have gotten a bit closer I guess you can say.

Today is January the 8th which also means it's  my nephews baby  oscars birthday my little baby it's turning 4

I'm so ready to turn up because  you know is Mexicans throw the biggest parties no matter what mo matter the occasion we invited Loren since she's basically apart of the family so you know we're gonna Be dancing cumbias y todo el pedo  all night

"Mila are you up" luz says walking in to my room with a sleeping Oscar in her hands

"Yea I'm up do you need help with anything?"

"Can you look after Oscar for me please I need to go to the store to get some last minute things and the guys are outside setting up"

"Yea sure" I said getting up and takin him from her arms and laying him down on the other side of my bed

"Okay I'll be Quick" she said walking out of my room I lay back down getting under my covers I hear my phone vibrate on the side of my table I reach over and a smile instantly comes on my fave seeing who it is

Jose- what you doing today
Mila - oh nothing just chilling a boring Saturday

I know what you guys are thinking why didn't I invite him or tell him about the party but I'm scared he'll actually show up I'm trying to spend less time with him I don't like the way he's making me feel

Jose- estás segura ? (Are you sure) cause Miguel just called me telling me it's little Oscars birthday and he told me to go over so I'll see you there Mila 😏

   Fucking Miguel are you kidding me

I didn't even bother to text back I just sat there re reading the message till I heard my nephews voice

"Tia" looking over looking at my sleepy nephew now sitting up rubbing his eyes

"Ay papas goodmorningg amor " i said smiling at him

He jumped up and sat in my lap

"It's my birftday right tia" looking up at me with a big smile on his face I laughed

"Yes it your birthday big boy how old are you turning aver"

He then held up 4 fingers instantly making me smile

"Yes baby good job!"  Giving him a high five "come on papas let's take you a shower"

I stood up carrying him with me and I went in the bathroom turned on the water for him left him so he can take his clothes off while I went looking for some clothes he can put on I walked back in and made sure he was washing himself right because he has a habit of just setting his hair and getting out

"Mila ! Hermanita!"

"Yes Javi what happened!" i yelled while going down the stairs

"Can you come outside and check the decorations make sure everything is set up the right way we don't want luz freaking out" he said rolling his eyes

Laughing I walked out side through the back door seeing Luis setting up more tables and Miguel hanging the banners I took a look around

"Yes everything's set up good you guys did good luz isn't going to freak out no ándale go take yalls showers and get ready"

A little bit later luz came back her mom and tías came also to help make the food we are making some tamales con arroz frijoles ensalada de papa mole it's like a whole damn buffet

"Okay is the foods done right so I can go upstairs and get ready" I asked luz

"Yea go ahead Mila you're good ve poner te bonita"

I went back up stairs got my clothes ready took a shower then I changed started doing my hair and makeup (look is up there👆without the backpack)knowing that Jose is coming makes me wanna look pretty to impress him god why am I so nervous

As I was putting perfume on I heard my door open

"Damn mami look at you" Loren said smiling "you look hot asf girlll"

Laughing I stood up and gave her a hug

"Mila come downstairs everyone's showing up!"

"Okay come on chica let's go before my brothers come up here and drag Me down by los pelos"

i  was going around greeting everyone so no one would call me rude or having no manners  cause that's what mexican older woman will do they'll talk shit about you even if they are your own tías I felt a hand touch my lower back just with that touch gave me tingles all over my body I jumped up then I heard

"You look beautiful as hell Ma look at you showing off your perfect body"

Blushing I turned my head trying to cover my face with my hair "jose hey glad you could make it even though I didn't invite you" I said laughing a bit looking everywhere else but him

"I couldn't miss t babygirl if it meant I'll be able to spend more time with you chiquita"
