I woke up next to Justin. They had put a tube in his mouth to help him breathe, and my leg was elevated by a pillow. When I tried sitting up, Reed ran to me and told me to lay down because I could ruin the healing process. Whenever I looked at Justin, I would start crying, so I went these past few hours without looking at him. I didn't even think about the situation. West came in momentarily to check on Justin, but when I asked him if Justin was ok, he looked at me but didn't answer. He just walked out the door. I tried sitting up, but my leg hurt too much, and I ended up crying. Honestly I don't even know why I was crying. There was multiple things on my mind. For instance, I had a dream about something that I'm a little worried about. I am crying because I know I have to see her again, and this dream is scary and somehow linked to me and everyone else here.

"How are you feeling?" asked Reed as he came for my daily checkup. He's been checking on me everyday this week, and he seems to do more tests every day.

"I'm tired" I said. That was mostly true. I just didn't want to tell him what I was actually feeling.

"And how's your leg?" he asked. I didn't want to answer.

"How's Justin?" I asked. Reed looked at Justin, and went to walk away.

"Reed!!!" I shouted, trying to sit up. The amount of pain coming from my leg prevented me from doing anything that wasn't just lying here. Helpless. Broken. Unable to do anything for myself. I started crying again, just as Seth walked in.

"Seriously?!? You've been crying every day since you woke up. Just stop being so over-dramatic already. I for one, am getting sick and tired of watching whatever this is" said Seth. He walked over to Justin's bed, and made sure to sit in a way where I wouldn't be able to see his face.

"What's your problem?" I asked, whiping the tears from my eyes. Seth didn't listen. He just sat there, staring at Justin.

"I asked you a question" I said.

"And I didn't give you an answer" said Seth.

"Ok. Look. I know I attacked you. I know that I am super sorry. But you don't get your apology until you can look me in the eye and tell me what's wrong" I said.

"Why do I have to tell you what goes on in my head?!?" asked Seth. He was giving me all this attitude.

"I am sorry I attacked you in the woods. I am sorry that some how I made you hate me. I am sorry that I don't know how to talk. I am sorry that for some reason, everything seems to be my fault. I am sorry that I am probably apologizing for things I probably shouldn't be" I said.

"Why'd you attack me?" he asked.

"You said something about my brother and I flipped out. I know that's not a good excuse, but give me time and I will explain more" I said.

"You're right. That isn't a good excuse. I fought so hard for you to give you a chance. And you attack me?!? I don't care what stupid excuse you come up with. Nothing can justify what you did" he explained.

"Seth -"

"Oh, and another thing. I know who you are. I remember everything from our past life. It cost me my sister's consciousness, and almost everything I own. But I remember. We were such good friends until you decided to run away with Prince 'I don't talk but I'm fast' Charming. And now, I see you and you are so clueless and stupid. I thought maybe I'll give you a chance. I'll help you. But you are so gullible and naive that I almost hate you. Not to mention -"

"Ok. Back off" I shouted. "That's an awesome story. It really is. But lashing out on me won't solve anything. Just accept -"

"NO!!! I'm not accepting anything from you!!! You're such a -"

"WOULD YOU BOTH SHUT IT!!!" yelled Reed. I forgot he was in the room. "You guys bickering back and forth won't solve anything. I don't even know what you're fighting about anymore. So shut it or I will make you shut it."

"I swear I am surrounded by -"

"Seth I mean it" Reed said. Seth got up and left the room.

"Wow. He's -"

"That goes for you too Summer" said Reed, interrupting me. I almost started laughing. Reed has never been mad before like this............why did I remember that? How is it possible for that thought to be in my brain?!?

"Summer are you ok? You look pale" Reed said with a concerned look. I suddenly felt sick. I started to feel hot. Like fever hot. I leaned over the side of the bed and puked on the floor. My leg was burning. I started screaming and clutching my leg.

"WEST" yelled Reed. West ran in the room with Seth running behind him, tears in his eyes.

"Something's wrong with Summer" said Reed.

"I know" said West. He put a needle in my skin. I started dozing off. West put a breathing mask thing on my face.

Seth came up to me and touched my arm. He looked me in the eye and said "I poisoned her."

Darkness. A small light. I remember running through a field. Some woman holding her arms out to catch me. My friend begging me to stay. I ran into the woman's arms, calling her 'Momma'. I looked to the mountain behind us and saw smoke. I looked at Momma and noticed that her face was messed up. It looked like it was boiled.

"You did this" she whispered. She threw me into a ditch. I was there for three nights. Finally someone came and got me. It was a man and a woman, different from before. They put a cap on my head.

They looked at me straight in the eyes as they both said at the same time "You failed."

There's a story. One that has many twists and turns. One that will keep you on the edge of your seet. However, this particular story ends with both the protagonist and the antagonist being the good guy. Both on different sides, still deserve to win. Not just because they were childhood friends, but because they fell in love. Seth was one of them. Him and his love ended their story in a bind. The girl ran away with her family to rule the world and be a Queen, while the boy found new friends, and stayed with them to protect their own kindgom. Little did the two lovers know, a darkness was brewing in the mountains. The boy's sister took the girl and transformed her into a mountain, so she could watch over everyone. At least, that's the boy's story.

The girl's story goes as follows: She went with her family to rule a kingdom, but didn't want to be Queen. Selling her throne, the girl left to meet the buyer in a strange place. The buyer, who was the girl's lover's brother, turned her into the highest mountain in the world. The buyer told her that if she can convince her lover and everyone to follow her voice into the mountain's caves and make a sacrifice that matters only to the buyer, she would be normal. However, the girl failed for many years, not finding a singal sacrifice good enough. Until one day, she saw a beautiful girl, roaming the kingdom with her lover and his friends. Fearing the evil buyer, the girl put everyone under a deep sleep, and took their memories, not wanting the girl to die for her. The girl did this for many years, and each time the beautiful girl showed a different side to her. She was interesting to watch, so away the memories went. But now the mountain is running out of time, and this group of friends is her only hope of surviving. That is my story.

Summer, you are the girl I've protected for so long. I'm afraid I can't any longer. Stay away from me at all costs, and find Seth's sister, and talk to her. Maybe you'll find salvation for us all.
