I woke up sweating and panting. I screamed and jumped out of bed. I was at home, in my room. The same room, but different.
"Are you ok?!?" asked my mother as she ran in.
Wait. My mother?!? I ran up to her and hugged her.
"I thought you were dead" I said. "I watched you die twice."
"What are you talking about, Summer? I'm right here" she replied. I let go and took a step back.
"What about the Cold? Is it gone?" I asked. She looked confused.
"What are you talking about?" she asked.
"Nothing" I replied. "Just a dream."
She grabbed my hand and pulled me outside my room. All I could think about was all my friends. Were they a dream too? Was I even dreaming? I ran out of the house and saw we were in a field, a farm.
"SUMMER" someone yelled my name. I turned to where it came from and saw all my friends, and my two brothers working in the field and having fun.
Justin ran up to me. "Hey are you okay?" he asked.
"I smiled with tears in my eyes and said "Yea. I'm great."
We ran to the others and started working away, as if the last few months never happened.
