Jess's POV (5 months later)
It was now October

After school I went to the hospital to see Lukas again
I opened the door and he was awake

"Hey you"

"Finnaly your here,I cant stand this place!"

"Only 2 months left"

The doctor came in agian
He had a drink In his hand

"Here drink this"he said

"What is it"

"It's a cure for what you have"

"A cure!!?"

"Yes"
He drank it

"Wow"

"That should have you up and running in a little bit"

"Thank you doctor"

"Your welcome"
He left the room

"I feel better already"

"Nice"

A little later we asked the doctor if we could leave he said yes

We left and walked back to my house
I texted Jay

F J:can you invite Petra over i have a surprise for you guys

M J:shes already here

F J:cool just wait for me to get there

We were outside my house

"Ok Lukas stay here I'm gonna blindfold them"

"Ok"

I went inside and blindfolded them and got Lukas inside and in front of them

"Ok take them off"

They took them off and started going nuts and They both lunged for him in a hug

"Little help Jess?"

"Ok guys that's enough"
They both let go and started to talk at once

"One at a time guys,Petra first"

"How did you get better that quick!?"

"The doctor found a cure"

"Are you coming back to school again?"

"Maybe on Monday yeah"

"Well what do we do now?"

"Movie marathon?"

"Sure"

After a while of watching Disney and Pixar Cartoons and that stuff Lukas and Petra went home and me and Jay went into our own rooms
Time skip

I was up extra early for some Reason but I had a feeling that today is gonna be a good day

I went into Jays room to wake him up

"Wake up sleepy head!"

"Five more minutes!"

"Come on!"
I pushed him off the bed and ran away

"ITS FIVE THIRTY JESS!!!"

I made myself some breakfast and got ready for school
When I was done I had extra time so I went down to Starbucks Hoping with all my strength that it would be busy
When I got there it wasn't that busy cause we live in a small town with 3 other Starbucks
I saw someone familiar

"Petra!"

"Hey!"

"I never figured you a morning person"she said

"I could say the same about you"

"Is Jay awake?"

"What do you think?"

'I think he'd be mad if you didn't get him something"

"I was gonna get him a cookie"

"I'd get four of I were you"

"Why?"

"Boys are pigs and one for yourself"

"Thanks for the tip"

"No problem"

"See ya at school"

"Bye"

I ordered my usual Mocha frapacino (I didn't know how to spell it lol) and the four cookies and went back home
I went into Jays room....and he was still asleep

"Wake up!"

Noooo

I'll give you cookies

He instantly got up and started to get ready for school

After that we went to school with everyone
When we got there I saw some kid was putting up a poster

It said New Years Homecoming

I didn't look that exited but on the inside I was screaming
