Quiet cries

Jays POV

I woke up and I looked out my window and it was still dark out so I checked my phone

2:23

And I heard a noise

It sounded like sobbing I went to Jess's room and I opened the door

She was sitting on her bed with her knees to her chest and her face buried In her knees

"Jess what's wrong?"

"You know so don't even ask"she said between snifles

"The book?"

"Yes!"

"I'm sorry about that"

"Go back to sleep I'll be fine"

"Are you sure cause I can sta-"

"I said go back to sleep!"

"Ok"

And the I went to my room and went back to sleep

Jess's POV

I woke up the next morning an hour early and not wanting to go to school and I started thinking about Reuben and my parents

But I did anyways

When I got on the bus I saw Aiden talking to a group of kids and when he walked away they started laughing

"Hey there tiny"

"What do you want Aiden!?"

"Just want you to know that your popular now"

"What do you mean?"

"You'll figure it out" he said with a smirk on his face

I was confused about what Aiden said

When I got to school I went to my favorite tree again climbed the tree and sat there for a while remembering what happened the day before

And I wanted my book back more than anything

And then I went to class

When I was walking in the hallway trying to get to class I heard people laughing as I passed by

I then I heard what they were saying

"Is that the one who's parents died?"

"She's an orphan right"

"I heard she lost something that was important or something"

I knew exactly who was behind all this

AIDEN

From then on I wanted to kill him and watch him burn alive

After school I went to my favorite tree again and and I read my favorite book

Wonder was the name of it

(If you never heard of it it's a book where a kid with a deformed face and he gets made fun of for it and you can see through others POV and it really cool)

And I heard a voice calling for me

"Orphan where are you!"

He knew I was in the tree and was being sarcastic

"Oh hi there orphan"

I got down from the tree and started going home but of course he kept following me

"Where do you live?"

"Go away please"

"Like that's gonna work"

I started to Sprint

And I got into my house and shut the door but when I left the door it just opened and Aiden came in"Nice place you got"

"Excuse me but you didn't ask to come in my house!"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes now get out!!"

"But you forgot something"

"What's that"

He punched me in the stomach causing me to fall over

And he kicked me and then he left

And I locked the door as soon as I got up

And I headed to my room and cried my eyes out and was thinking about my parents when I hear the front door open

And I knew it was Jay cause we're the only people with a key

And he just went in his room to do his own thing

And I texted Lukas

J can I come over?

L of  course

J thanks

L is  something wrong

J i just miss my book

L ok

I started to get my stuff together and I headed out the door

I knocked on the door

He answered it

We sat on the couch and cuddled

Until I said something

"Why does Aiden have to be a jerk"

"I don't know"

"Well he came into my house"

"He did!?"

"Yeah"

"I'm Sorry"
