Lost Princess

Chapter 2

The flight was easy and before Lupa knew it she was flying over the island, it didn't seem inhabited by anyone but....was that a ship? a very large ship...

Before she could approach the ship and scope it out more, a blue object shot into the sky beside her, she didn't think twice about getting the fuck outta dodge, her heavy wings pushed her forward as her dorsal wings moved her gracefully out of the path of whatever this blue thing was, she wasn't the best flyer, nor was she really any good at using her electricity while in this form, she had only had the ThunderBird fruit for a year now, and she only used her bird form for observation, her human form was better at fighting, as she studied Haki most of her 6 years at sea.

The blue form was closing in fast on Lupa, she looked behind herself to get a better look at the pursuer, not the best idea, not only because she wasn't watching where she was going but also because the sight distracted her long enough for a tree branch to clip her left wing and the blue bird to snap it's talons on her back. The blue bird was far larger then her, as she was small as a human, and it easily pinned her wings to her side with it's talons, preventing her from flying, and preventing her from escaping, she screeched at the blue bird, trying to bite at it, her beak only went through the blue birds flesh....but how?

Dusty and Beany watched the island as they approached it, "I don't see her in the sky" Dusty said as she looked to the sky with her spyglass "well maybe she's just resting and waiting till her form dissipates" Beany comforted Dusty, "yeah makes sense, I know she hates waiting for it to go away", the ship closed in on the island and Dusty pulled on a rope for a smaller boat to be lowered, "man I hate sea water, we really need to get someone who can swim to save our asses if we fall in" She grumbled a little "well this was our choice.." Beany sounded a little bummed, they were both blessed with Devil fruit, Dusty had the Chance-Chance fruit, giving her the ability to up her and her friends chances, or lower someone else. Beany had the Know-know fruit, a fruit giving her the ability to know anything by touching something, it only lasted for an hour before she forgot the knowledge she received but she was working on it, Dusty was also working on enhancing her chances, so far she could only get to %25, but she had only had her fruit for 3 months, so it made sense.

They landed on the island on the small boat and got off, "Lupa!" Dusty called but got no answer, "hmm" she muttered, "come on Beany she could be deeper in," Dusty called to her companion, and Beany followed her into the bush. They searched and called until they heard rustling in the bush "Lupa?" Beany called to it, "Lupa get out here" Dusty approached the noise...but it was not Lupa.
