Lost Princess

Chapter 3

The Thunderbird sat caged in a wooden makeshift cage, she wasn't pleased and she glared at the blue bird that stared at her, she had figured now that this blue bird was a phoenix, given the fact that blue flames flickered off it every so often. Lupa released a low growl like noise and didn't let up on the silver eyes watching her. Her tail wrapped around her body protectively and her wings tucked around her head, just then a couple men came out from the trees dragging with them Dusty and Beany, Dusty struggled as the men pulled them along and Beany went along with a stern face, the men walked up to the phoenix and pulled the women along with them "first commander, we found these women wandering around the island, their boat is anchored near the east beach and we think there is a third woman" one of the men spoke to the phoenix "Let me fucking go or I swear to fuck I will fucking end you!" Dusty yelled at the men. The phoenix looked back at Lupa with an unchanging gaze then flapped it's wings, in a blaze of fire a man was left standing it it's place "another mythical Zoan user!?" Lupa was surprised as she thought to herself. The man stood in front of the cage, he was tall, with dark blue pants, black sandals and a purple shirt, from what Lupa could see he had a tuft of blond hair atop his head, "looking for another yoi?, tie these women to a tree and search for the th-" the man was cut off as Dusty looked into the cage and shouted "Lupa!" her face turned into a large smile, Beany's face lifted too "there you are!" she exclaimed with a happy sigh. Lupa let out a concerned caw, her tail and wings lowered at the sight of them, "this bird is your third companion yoi?" The blond man spoke calmly "yes she is!" Dusty growled, "well that solves that problem", the man let out a sigh and looked at Lupa, "well, harness their ship and pull it over here yoi, we'll move the women into the cabin over there, get them some food and water and lock the cabin up, I'll talk to the old man yoi" He ordered the men as he bent down and opened up the cage that Lupa sat in, "wait what are you doing to her?" Dusty shouted at the man again "well, I'm taking her with me, don't worry I won't hurt her yoi" He clamped two cuffs around Lupa's talons and grabbed onto her wing to prevent her from struggling, he then pulled out a red scarf and wrapped it around her, sealing her wings to her sides, she seemed angry yet scared, she didn't move in his grasp, "Lupa," Beany spoke "you know where we are" she winked as they were pulled away to the cabin.

The odd man walked with Lupa in his arms to the large ship docked by the water, he walked up into it and walked across the deck, Lupa's eyes widened as she realized who the man sitting in a large purple chair was...Whitebeard, captain to the largest fleet in the seas. Lupa curled up more into the red scarf, the fluffy feathers around her neck puffed up, and she growled "hey, hey, calm down yoi, he's not gonna hurt you" The blond man looked down at her with his sleepy eyes, almost relaxing to Lupa. Whitebeard lowered his tankard of alcohol and looked at the blond man "Marco, what's this you have with you?" The old man sounded peaceful as he looked at the black and white bird tucked in Marco's arms, "a rather interesting find yoi, found her flying above us, scoping us out yoi" he replied, "Guragura, what a cute little bird, do you think you found a mate?" the old man laughed at his joke and the blond laughed with him "no no old man yoi, she was with two other women, their ship was anchored at the east beach, we don't know why they're here but they seem pretty harmless yoi, have em locked in the cabin at the beach," Marco spoke, his tone returning to seriousness "ah I see," the old man looked to a couple men sitting to drink a little beside him "go and search their ship, bring back anything of importance, Marco, seeing how you're fond of this bird you can take care of her" Whitebeard finished his order before lifting the tankard to drink again, Marco nodded, then brought Lupa with him into the ship.
