Invisible Shadows

Chapter 1

I looked out the window with fear plastered on my face. I did not know who I was with out my old friends and to be honest i never really did. I looked Lily who was basically interested with her phone. She looked up at me and smiled,she realized the looking my face and took off her headphones 🎧. As we pulled into the parking lot my eyes widened the whole school was the size of five football fields. There was a bunch of students and they were all more interested in their phones. I got out of the cat and instantly fell into the puddle near by. Thank goodness I brought an extra pair of clothes. I quickly ran into the restroom and changed into a grey crop top with black leggings and brown combat boots. I went back outside to meet Lily and that's when I ran into this really pretty girl who had the exact outfit as me. She had curly hair that went down to her shoulders.

" I'm so sorry" I thought she was going to snap but instead she said " oh it's ok, you're the new girl right?!" I nodded " well my name is Leah Shadow,what's yours." I smiled and said " Heaven, Heaven Stone." I said slightly shy. We walked to class together and thankfully we had all the same ones. Except for French I love French, I lived there for more than ten years. I had an amazing accent that went with it. People were surprised that a African American could speak a different language.

I got my pencil out and asked my teacher if I could have a challenge. She gladly said yes and proceeded with class giving me challenges like never before.

Class was dismissed and i walked to lily ready to go home. " Heaven wait!" As I turned around I saw Leah Behind me. " y-yes" i said shyly. " do you want to come over tonight my brother is throwing a party tonight" she said her eyes pleaded with a yes.
