My eyes opened quickly. I sat up, groaning, to see where I was.
I was in...tartarus....
There was a footstep behind me. I pulled out my sword quickly and turned, Nico was standing there with his hands up.
I took a deep breath and put the sword down.
"I don't miss this place....." Nico growled, taking his sword out.
"Why are we here??!!" I yelled, then I realized my mistake. A huge growl shook the ground.
Great...I thought to myself as me and Nico went back to back.
A wave of laugher came at our ears like a blow horn.
"What's wrong little heroes??"
"Cant learn to respect us??"
Those voices rang in my ear.
I couldn't see 2 feet in front of me.
A few gods and goddesses walked in front of us, in a circle.
Hecate, Iris, Morpheus, Nike, Nemsis, and Hebe stood around us.
They felt...darker, less great like on olympus.
"What going on??!!" Nico yelled. "Why are we in Tartarus!?!!!"
"Because, Nico, I brought you here." I know that voice....
Mady stepped out of the darkest and was smirking.
"As a demigod...I get no repect.." She started. "The gods of olympus must fall into my power, I can rule better than the gods, who have ignored us for some many years!! Percy thinks he saved us when he just made another war!!! Gaea is just another goddesses I can control."
"So....your turning the gods evil??" I asked, my sword still at ready.
She nodded.
"A child of the sea to
Strike foe down
A friend turner traitor to
Receive the crown
Gods of olympus
Mighty have fallen
A land at peace to
Become very solemn" she finished.
My heart almost stopped. A child of the sea....was me.
"Your the traitor..." Nico growled at Mady.
I looked at the minor gods and goddesses around me. They are under her power, even her own mom.
"I'm smarter than you think, skylar, I'm planning to move olympus farrier west," WHAT?!?!?!
Mady backed into the shadows.
"Come back, you coward!!" Nico yelled.
I looked at Hecate in the eyes, they were filled with pain.
I grabbed Nico's arm and pulled him though the darkest, we came toward a light.
We fell onto the floor, of olympus.
