"Meredith, time to wake up." My mom said and shook me. I groaned and asked, "Five more minutes?" She laughed and shook her head. And then, she opened the blinds and pulled off my sheets.
After a few minutes of being forced, I got up. I walked to my bathroom and turned on the water. I hopped in, letting the warmth hit me.

I got out and wrapped my towel around my body, shivering. I quickly dried myself off, and walked to my room.
I opened up my closet door, and walked inside it. I chose a white lace crop top, and a teal skater skirt. I also grabbed my light brown wedges.
I slipped on my clothes and walked to my dresser. I grabbed my pandora bracelet, and a teal necklace.
I plugged in my hair dryer and dried my hair.
When my hair was fully dry, I plugged in my wand(curling iron for those who don't know). I brushed my teeth while I was waiting. I rinsed my mouth out and started to curl my hair..

After 20 minutes, my hair was curled in tight curls. I checked time, to realise I only had 20 minutes left. I hurriedly yanked out my makeup bag and put on my foundation, concealer, and mascara.
I grabbed my bag and my sunglasses and hurried out the door. I got into my car and buckled my seat belt. I turned up the radio and drove off.

I arrived at school, and I got out of my car. I took off my sunglasses and shoved them into my bag. I walked towards the entrance of my school and someone shouted, "Meredith!" I turned around and saw Nick.
"Hey Nick." I said putting on a smile. He smiled back. God save me, that smile is to die for. "Do you want to go get Starbucks after school?" He said rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "No sorry I can't.." I said acting a frown. I looked down trying not to laugh.
I looked back up and he had a hint of hurt in his eyes. I almost melted right there. I laughed and said, "Of course I'll go!" He blushed like crazy.
We walked in school side by side talking. Okay, so Nick and I are the most popular people at Rose Wood High. Therefore, we had a hallway cleared.
I honestly hated the fact I was popular sometimes. It makes me feel awful. I sighed and we walked to our lockers. As soon as I got to mine, a screaming Kelsey came to me.
Startled, I stepped back. She smiled. She smiled this excited smile. "I didn't know you and Nick were a thing!!" Kelsey squealed, but quiet-ish. I blushed and said, "We're not..Right now we are just friends. Chill Kelsey. I don't think he really even likes me that much." I frowned at the end of my sentence.

"I'm telling you, he totally likes you, Meredith!" Bailey said. I rolled my eyes. "I think he does too!" Chelsea piped in. I sighed and asked, "I don't know guys. But really, can we talk about something else?"
Kelsey rolled her eyes, as we sat down. You could call it the 'popular' table, but honestly, I think it's just another ordinary table.
Unlike most of the popular girls, I'm actually not a cheerleader. I'm actually a varsity volleyball player. Kelsey is also on the volleyball team, but Bailey and Chelsea are cheerleaders.
