Apps needed:
1. PicsArt
2. Phonto

We need to make the background. This is going to happen in 5 steps.
First, open a plain image of Wattpad cover size in PicsArt. Add a dark city background. Save.
Second, add a picture of smoke/clouds. Blend it in as screen. Save.
Third, add a picture of a moon. Blend it in as multiply. Save.
Four, add grain. Blend it in as overlay and reduce the opacity to around 40. Save.
Five, add a lighting texture. Blend in as lighten and reduce opacity to around 30. Save.
I've placed the progression of the steps below.

Now that the background is done, add your faceclaim. I'm using Emma Stone.

This is optional; add poster credits. Blend them in as screen. Save.

In Phonto, open a plain black background and add the title of the book.

Back in PicsArt, add the text and blend it in as screen. Rub out the text in places you don't want it to be, like this:

Back in Phonto, open the cover and add anything else you may want on, such as your username.

Back in PicsArt, add effects - if you want. I used HDR2, Drama and Sharpen, adjusting the opacity and even changing the blending to suite my taste.

Finally, add one more lighting texture, blending it in with lighten and reducing the opacity to about 30.
