"You're beautiful. It's true."
As requested by SunsetStar17, here is the tutorial on how I made my covers.
Resources needed:
1. Plain white background of Wattpad cover size (1536x2400)
2. Face claim picture or background
3. ISBN
4. Watercolour sticker/imageApps needed:
1. Aviary
2. PicsArt
3. Phonto1.
In Aviary, open a plain white, Wattpad cover size image. If you sign up for Adobe, you can get free stickers, effects, etc. So I'd suggest that you do!We're going to add a sticker from the 'Watercolor' sticker collection. Pick any one of them that you like or add a bunch of them to the background like this:
2.
Still in Aviary, go to adjust. Here you're going to:
Decrease saturation
Decrease brightness
Then save.
From there, continue decreasing brightness - and even decrease contrast once - until you end up with something like this:3.
In PicsArt, open a plain white, Wattpad cover size image. Add the watercolour effect, so that it ends up something like this:4.
Add a picture of your face claim or a background. Blend it in as screen.5.
Go to Phonto and add your text. Tilt it 90 degrees. For this cover I used the following font:
6.
Add an ISBN. You can find one on Google.Add it in Phonto and place it nicely on the cover, like this:
7.
You can go back to PicsArt or Aviary and add effects or adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. to your liking. And then, you are done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you need any help, you can leave a comment and I'll be sure to reply as soon as possible.
So long, farewell. I'll see you soon.
