Lucy's P.O.V
I was currently hiding in a cave that I found. I had now fire, nothing to wrap myself in, and no light. I was pretty useless. and dumb for not taking my hood. It was freezing in the cave!
I walked out to the entrance of the cave and looked back in the direction I came from. The town was just barely in view. I could see cars and trains entering and exiting the town. What caught my attention was a speeding car racing out of the town.
I wonder what criminal that is. I laughed as I thought about it. I decided that it was time I moved before I become easier to find. I didn't know where to go from here, so I just picked a direction and walked.
Not long after I started walking though, my phone started ringing. Without thinking, I just answered.
"Where are you Lucy?!" Natsu yelled through the phone. I didn't say anything. I froze in place and took the phone away from my mouth so he didn't hear me breathing.
"Lucy?! You have to be there if you answered your phone!" He yelled again.
"Natsu! She's probably not answering on purpose! She doesn't want us to find her!" I heard Zeref yell in the background.
"I don't care if she doesn't want to be found! I want to find her!" Natsu yelled.
"Natsu! Hang up the phone!" Mavis said.
"No! Mavis! St-" Then he hung up. I was still frozen and didn't know what to do. I wanted to go back to them, but I didn't want them to get tangled up in my problems. These are my problems, not theirs. This is a Heartfilila problem. Not a Dragneel. Not my innocent Dragneel friend.
Natsu's P.O.V
"Mavi! Why'd you do that?!" I yelled at her, trying to grab my phone back.
"First of all, calm down! We'll find her for sure!" She said, still holding my phone in her hands.
"Secondly, Zeref can now track where the signal came from. Where ever she was when she answered, it will show him. That's why we wanted you to hang up." She finally explained. I stared at Zeref who took my phone from Mavis and started tracking.
I'm going to find my Heartfilia friend. No matter how much she thinks it's not a Dragneel problem, it's Heartfilia and Dragneel combined. I promised that when we became friends. And I keep my promises.
