Prologue
Arabella's POV
"Turn away," the dark boy groaned with a desperate look in his haunted eyes.
I knew I shouldn't have gone down this alley. Right now I am standing in a broken down alley, probably looking like I had just seen a ghost. My eyes are as wide as they could be without popping out of their sockets. My hands are shaking ferociously and are showing no sign of stopping anytime soon.
When I said that I wanted my life to be exhilarating and risky I didn't mean 'find a half dead boy in an alley' kind of exhilarating.
I can't seem to form a coherent sentence, my head is spinning, my thoughts racing and I am bound to pass out if I don't sit down. I start to feel light headed and my head, now spinning faster than ever is now throbbing, my mind still racing and I start to think I might be going crazy with all of the thoughts floating around in my head.
"Hey are you okay?" was the last thing I heard before the darkness took over.
