The night was cold and frigid; her heart as hard as stone. She wanted to take her life and no one would've ever known. No one ever paid any attention to her. She was beaten night and day because no one ever loved her; she broke. she couldn't take it anymore, she was jumping. She stood on the edge of the cliff, staring into the seemingly endless abyss. Right before she jumped, someone stopped her, right before she jumped off the cliff. A boy, a year or two older than her, tall and built just right, blonde with two bright blue eyes.
"Hey, I don't know who you are, but I want to help you." He said softly, as he held his hand out to her. She glanced at it, the she shook her head.

"N-no." She stuttered. "No one c-can help me-- and no one will." She looked down, close to tears. He took a few slow steps towards her.

"Now, who wouldn't help a beautiful girl like you?"

She felt the heat rise to her cheeks when he called her beautiful. "Be-because-" she paused, trying to shake away the warm soft feeling. "Because I'm broken!" She yelled. "And no one ever helps the broken!" Tears no flowing down her cheeks, she fell to her knees.

He fell to his knees in front of her. "I don't care what you say-" he pulled her into his arms and held her close. "I'll always be here for you." She started bawling.

For the first time in forever, she felt safe. Nothing in this world could touch her while his arms are wrapped around her. It seemed like the whole world stopped, and they are the only two in motion. Can he just be her angel?
