I sit huddled in the corner of my favorite coffee shop with y/f/b in my lap and a coffee on the table. But I'm distracted by a couple around my age kissing and cuddling and being all cute together. I sigh. It should have been us.

I had recently broken up with my boyfriend of 4 years. Oli white. That's why I got all annoyed with cute couples because it reminded me that it should have been me and oli doing all those things but he broke it off claiming with YouTube he couldn't deal with a relationship as well. This led too a huge argument between us and I had run to my best friend Conor's house.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. I giggle slightly as Conor stumbles over to the table. "Alright y/n."

"Ye just can't stand that couple over there being all cute and coupley" he laughs at my made up word.

"I know it reminds you of oli so I have an offer for you" I nod signalling him to continue. " I found a song and I think we should do a cover of it. I mean the fans have been asking about you and I think it would be fun" he says taking a sip of my coffee. I just stare in disbelief.

"What song is it that your on about" as I say that he pulls out his headphones and his phone and gives the headphones to me as he finds the right song.

When the song ends I'm grinning like a crazy person. "Conor you are an absolute genius." I start doing a silly happy dance.

"Calm down Y/n. When do you want to record it." I stop think and give Conor a huge grin.

"Like right now" I say squealing and dragging him back to the studio where we usually record all of our covers.

After we set up we sit down ready. The backing track starts playing and I start singing

"Walking round with my head down......."

"Done." This was a huge relief to both me and Conor as it had been at least 3 hours since we started.

I sigh and plop myself down onto the sofa. "When will that be up" I ask lifting my head.

"The end of this week. Trust me oli won't know what's hit him y/n/n" he says as I walk over to give him a hug.

"Thanks for everything Con but I really must be going" I say and kiss his cheek. (As friends)

The week goes by way too fast for my liking. I spend most of that week in meetings or over at josh and Caspar's place playing GTA V with them. I also spend some time at Joe and Byron's place just hanging out with some of my best mates but today is the day. The group meeting for the buttercream squad where me and conor will be releasing our new cover.

I hopped In the shower quickly before heading to my room and getting myself ready for the big reveal.

It took my an hour to get ready. I plaited my hair into two dutch braids and put cute little blue bows at the end of each plait. I then pull on my baby pink sugg life hoodie. I then grab my light blue jeans and my baby pink converse. Then I put some lip gloss on and some eyeliner. Now im ready to go.

Me and Conor get out of his car and enter joes apartment that he's left unlocked for us. After we sit down and greeted everyone a very awkward silence fell over the apartment until jack came in and we starts our little meeting.

When its my turn to talk I bring up mine and conors new cover. "So me and Conor have been working extra hard to get something special done for you guys and the viewers. Which is what Conor has literally just finished uploading and we would like to show you." I finish and sit back as Conor loads up our latest cover ready to show everyone.

As soon as it finishes everyone looked at me as if they knew exactly who and what that song was about. I excused myself to grab a drink.

As I stood drinking water I hear someone behind me. "Penny for your thoughts" he looked at me concern in his eyes.

"Why do you care Oli?" I turned to face him properly.

" I care because.... I love you. I didn't want to leave you really I was just super stressed and I took it out on our relationship meaning it broke apart. If I could go back in time and do one thing to improve I would have never broken up with you. I love you y/n." He finishes as he rests his hand on my cheek.

"I love you too Oli" I say and quickly connect our lips together in a heated kiss. I'm guessing we got distracted because we heard the boys laughing.

"Oi! That's my counter you too are practically having sex on" Joe yells causing me and oli to break apart , both blushing crimson.

"Y/n I'm so happy that you and oli got back together" Conor says smiling at me and coming over and giving me a hug and one by one we all created a big group hug with me and oli in the middle.

So me and oli were back together and I felt like I was finally getting a happily ever after, after all.
