"Bakit kasama mo si Kiefer kanina? At magkayakapan pa kayo!"

"Hindi naman sa ganun de-"

"Anong hindi ganon? So ano yun? Yakap ng kaibigan?" putol nya.

"Den plea-"

"How could you Alyssa! How could you betray my trust?! Am I not enough for you?"

At this, I couldn't help myself anymore. I laughed bitterly.

"Anong nakakatawa sa sinabi ko?! Umayos ka naman Alyssa!"

Umupo ako sa sa upuan at yumuko. Yung mga luha ko pumapatak na. Yung mga luhang matagal ko nang iniipon, unti unting pumapatak.

"13?! Jersey number ko?! Pinagloloko mo ba ako Alyssa? Ano naman ang kinalaman nun sa'tin?!" sunod sunod na sabi nya. Yung galit nya umaapaw ng parang bulkan.

I smiled sadly. "No, Dennise. 13 times I saw you."

"13 times I saw you cheat."

Yung galit sa mga mata nya ay napalitan ng pagkalito. Her eyes widened from shock, until it became sad and regretful.

"Alyssa, I can ex-"

This time, I cut her off. "You asked me if you weren't enough for me. But let me ask you this, was I ever enough for you?"

Dennise looked down shamefully. Eyes filled with regret.

"Haha." I laughed bitterly to myself. "Ang tanga ko naman pala. Bat tinatanong ko pa yun, eh ito na nga yung sagot, sinasampal sakin ng paulit ulit."

"No ly. That's not true. You're more than enough for me." sabi nya.

Lies.

"Tama na Den. Hindi ka ba naawa sakin? Kasi ako, awang awa na sa sarili ko. Lahat bingay ko sayo Den. Lahat. What a fool I was to trust you ever cared."

I stood up, and walked over to my packed bags. Dennise didn't notice them when she came in.

"I thought we would be forever Den. I guess this proves that forever isn't real." parang kidlat, natauhan si Den and she raced over to Alyssa.

"Alyssa please! Give me another chance! Please don't leave me!" she begged me.

I simply turned around and walked towards the door.

Den grabbed my legs, effectively stopping me from leaving. "Love, please. I'll prove it to you. Kahit anong ipagawa mo sakin, gagawin ko. I love you so much, di ko kayang mabuhay ng wala ka sa piling ko." she sobbed on the floor.

I gently removed her arms from me. "Wag mo nang lokohin sarili mo Den. At wag mo din akong lokohin. Quotang-quota ka na. Tama na please. "

"Alyssa I can't live without you. Love. Give me another chance to prove myself to you." she sank on her knees in front of me.

I smiled sadly at her. "You had your chance Dennise."

"Love please. Please don't do this to me. Please love." pagmamakaawa sakin ni Den.

"You had your chances. But you threw them all away without a second thought."

With that, I walked grabbed my bags and opened the door. Leaving Dennise on her knees, sobbing out her heart.

Just before I left, I turned around and said, "Oh, and Den? You're finally free."

I left without looking back.

I walked to my car, and threw my stuff in the trunk. I got in the driver's seat and there, slowly, the magnitude of my actions finally sank in me.

I just let her go.
