Chaeng's POV

I keep watch of every corner of the hallways. I ran away yesterday after lunch and didn't show myself for the whole remaining hours. I also ignored their texts, that probably would ignite a problem if I see them today.

"He-" I pushed the person who attempted to touch my shoulder. Which causing her to fall on the floor. She winced. Oh my god, Son Chaeyoung. Someone just fell and you're just staring.

I quickly helped her to get up. But instead she pulls me harshly bumping our heads together. "Y-ya." I stuttered. "Sorry, but it's also your fault." She pushed me away. "My fault? You pulled me when I'm trying to help you. You even pushed me after. That hurts you know." Replying to her.

She then looked away. "I-i'm sorry." she stutters. "It's alright." I said smiling. I made a good look at her face. She's a stranger to me. I've never seen her before. Is she new?

"I'm Chaeyoung. You must be new. What's your name?" I asked. She nods softly and answered. "Yes. I'm Chou Tzuyu." She said standing up offering a handshake. I chuckled and accepted her hand.

"So, you're new. Where's your class? I'll send you there." I said smiling. She gives me a piece of paper. "This room." She says. Wait, what! She's the new transferee they were talking about? The goddess one?

That's nice. I've met the person. "You're in the same class as me." I said with joy. "Oh, really. I thought you were lower my year. You seem short. No offense." She said scratching the back of her head. I just smiled. "It's fine. Let's go." As the both of us went inside. There are eyes staring at me. More like glaring.

Yup, I forgot about that. Jeongyeon pinched my ear. "Where have you went yesterday? You're lucky Nayeon is leaving now. She could've pinched you harder. Come here, you little brat cub." She said and made me sit on her seat. "Now, explain cub." She said glaring at me. Wait, where's Mina? I glanced at the back and just saw Momo.

"I went home. I felt sick. Now, let me go. That's Tzuyu. I'm going." I said and went at the back. I sat down on the seat next to Momo's which is is Mina's. "Momo-ya. Where's Mina?" I asked. She glared at me. "I hate you, Son Chaeyoung. You ran away. We were so worried. Mina is so worried. How dare you?" She said and suddenly ignore me.

"Hey, Momo. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Can you now tell me where Mina is?" I said with sincerity. She looks at me, hesitating. "She told me she'd be late. She's meeting Jimin right now." She said. Jimin? Tch. Why am I being like this? I shouldn't be jealous. Mina won't like girls.

"Ah, I see." I said and went to my original seat. The teacher isn't here yet. I decided to go the bathroom. I have to use it. As I opened the door to go out, I see Jimin and Mina standing in front of door hugging each other.

I got startled and yelped. They must've heard me. They released their hug. "Uhm. I-i. G-go on. I-i'm going to the bathroom." I said stuttering. "No, Chaeyoung. We are just saying goodbye. Uhm. Bye, babe. You should go now." Mina said.

"Nah, you don't have to explain. I'd be going now." I said and left. Phew! I might have been a bother. I suddenly felt a touch on my shoulder. "Hey, Chaeyoung." She said with a smile. "Oh, Tzuyu. Hi, what are you doing here? Aren't you worried? The teacher might be there already." I said.

She smiled and put her arms around my shoulders. "Nope. The teacher texted and said he won't come today. Let's do something fun. Let's go to the garden." She said and I agreed. I should stop thinking of Mina.

Mina's POV

"Mina, I'll send you to school." Jimin said. I agreed. He sent me to school and my thoughts are flying. I keep thinking about Chaeyoung. She didn't attend school after lunch. I am really worried.

I realized that we are now in front of the room. "Mina, wait." Jimin said and hugged me. I hugged him back. I heard a sound which surprised me letting go of the hug. I turned around to see Chaeyoung looking shocked. She suddenly turned red.

"Uhm. I-i. G-go on. I-i'm going to the bathroom." She said stuttering. She must be surprised seeing two people hugging right in front of her.. "No, Chaeyoung. We are just saying goodbye. Uhm. Bye, babe. You should go now." I said not wanting her to go. I need to talk to her. Jimin looked speechless.

"Nah, you don't have to explain. I'd be going now." She said and left with a fast pace. She's awkward with me now. "What was that, babe? That's Chaeyoung? I should have thanked her. She always goes with you right?" Jimin asked. I just nod.

Some moment later, he finally left. I want to follow her. But I think I should put my bag down first. I went in and saw a new face inside the room sitting next to Jeong. I went to Momo and spoke. "Hey, Mo. Did Chaeyoung explained everything?" I asked and she shrugged. "She just said sorry and looked for you." She responds.

"Hey guys, Mr. Choi is not attending today." A guy in the class said. The girl sitting beside Jeong stood up and went outside. Ah, right. I need to talk to Chae. I walked out and saw Chae in the garden. I was about to approach her when the girl earlier walked to her handing her a drink. Chae smiled widely. She smiled like she never did to me.

Wait, why do I sound sad about that? Why does her smile matter. It shouldn't.
