Mina's POV

I felt happy and sad at the same time. She could've chosen Tzuyu, but instead she chose me. "I really think you should sit with Tzuyu though." I said and she looked hesitant. She was about to stand up when Tzuyu did. "I'll be going now, you two. See you tomorrow." Tzuyu said and left.

Chaeyoung stood up and sat where Tzuyu sat earlier. "Just tell me next time if you don't want to sit with me. I'll understand." She said and remained quiet. I want to tell her otherwise but no words came out of my mouth.

It's been minutes that I kept thinking of what to say. When I was about to open my mouth, she stood up and left. "I was gonna say that, I actually like sitting and talking with you." I mumbled to myself.

Chaeng's POV

Why did I say that? Well, isn't it true? Isn't it obvious that she's pushing me away from her. I never had the chance. I never did. I was just convincing myself that maybe her and I can happen. We can happen.

I sighed at my thoughts. Why did I even thought of liking her when from the start we weren't in good terms? She's so frustrating still I like her. I look like I'm stomping my way home. I look childish. "Chaeyoung!" Even her voice is stuck on my head. Stop, Mina. Stop making me fall for you more.

"Chaeyoung, wait." Her soft voice lingering in my head. Her face popped in my head. She's the definition of elegance. "Chaeyoung!" I turned around and saw Mina running to me. Wait?! Mina's running to me. What is she doing here?

"I don't want to go home yet." Mina said and clinged unto my arms. She doesn't want to go home yet. Then, she could've just went with Momo earlier. She's going to the mall. Besides. She doesn't want me near her.

"You should go home. It's late." I said and walked faster as I removed her hand from clinging unto me. She became quiet but she's still following me. I can sense it. "Oh, please. Stop following me and just go home. It's not safe once the sun goes down. Please listen just this once, Mina."

I walk some more. I felt like she's not following anymore. I'm sorry, Mina. I shouldn't be acting like this cause you're my friend. I wiped some tears that fell from my eyes. "Chaeyoung. You might've misunderstood what I said earlier. Can we talk it out?" I heard her talk. She's still here and silly me just cried.

I won't look back. I don't want her to see me crying. Not in this state. I can hear her footsteps getting closer. "I like going home with you. No actually, I love going home with you. You're my friend, aren't you?" She said with her soft voice and hugged me from behind. Her scent travels my nose. I've always loved her sweet smell.

But that word broke me. Friend. "I'm sorry if you have felt like I don't want to be with you. Will you forgive me?" She asks whispering in my ear. I felt tickled. I burst a chuckle. "Sure. If you go home now. I'll forgive you." I said blushing. Who wouldn't? "Okay. Love ya." She said and pecked my cheeks.

*Beep beep

I woke up with the sound of my clock. I groaned and suddenly stared blankly in my room. So, it was a dream. Cause that is what not happened. I just got off and she didn't followed. She continued to go on her way home.

I sighed and prepared myself to school. It's saddening that I have tried getting angry at her but I still think of her in the end of the day.
