This moment is just perfect but somehow deep inside my chest hurts a little bit when she kissed Seth as well. Maybe I am just imagining things because there's no way this could be happening to me. I don't want to deny it but did I really get jealous a moment ago? Of course not, not with Seth, and most of all not because of Hanna whom I treated like a little sister 'till now.
"By the way Hanna, would you accept this guitar as my birthday present for you?
"But, wasn't that song earlier was your present for me?"
"Of course not. It was your request from me and a present is different. It is something that we give with our own initiative and you said that you want to learn how to play the guitar right? The easiest way is to have your own guitar first. "
"This guitar, you bought it by saving your allowance and this was quite expensive."
"That's why you should take care of it and besides I can't bring this with me ab-"
"Hey Dave!" Seth interrupted when I was just about to mention the word abroad. Thanks to him the day is not yet ruined by my careless talk.
"What did you mean by not being able to bring this a-?" Her curiosity was raised due to the sudden interruption. I look at Seth while thinking for an excuse.
"I mean, I could not possibly brought this with me when I go to work since this is quite heavy and I won't be needing this there either so I think this would be more useful for you."
"Okay I'll accept it but only if you'll become my guitar teacher."
The door opened unexpectedly then mom rushed in with shopping bags filled in her hand. "Happy birthday darling! I got really excited when I saw your shoes down stairs that I immediately went all the way here." She greeted Hanna with a graceful and lovely voice then Hanna stood up and welcomed her with a beso-beso.
"Hello Tita, you look so gorgeous as always."
"Not as gorgeous as you darling especially when you'll wear this dresses I bought for you."
"Thank you Tita but this is so plenty. You even bought me a hand bag. Oh my God! This was the dress I really wanted to buy the other day."
Hanna was so overwhelmed with mom's presents for her. Compared to her, Seth's and mine were like nothing. She bought a couple of dresses, shoes, bags, and even Hanna's favorite expensive perfume. I wonder if Hanna wouldn't find anything suspicious about this at all. I know it's hard for mom to leave Hanna that's why she bought almost everything she wanted for her like she's her own daughter but she really over did it this time.
"Come here with me Hanna, let's try this new dress I bought for you. I want to see you wear this when you go out later with your big brothers."
Mom pulled Hanna and went to her room then after a few minutes they came back with Hanna wearing a beautiful raffled purple dress. It was just right for her cute height and wave like long hair.
"What do you think Dave? Doesn't your little sister look gorgeous?"
"It's perfect mom."
Hanna looked away with reddish cheeks when I complimented her.
"How about you Seth? What do you think?" Mom asked Seth as well which made him stutter to find words. His face also looks reddish as he tried to hide it. "You look so beautiful Hanna. You're like an angel." He said.
"Oh my, my, my. It seems like they we're stunned by you darling. It's understandable since you're not that little as you were before. You've become a beautiful young lady far from that little girl who brought me cookies seven years ago."
