"Whoa." I twirled around in the mirror. It was perfect, the fabric was tight or loose in the perfect places. The silver fabric felt soft and heavy against my skin.

"Is it okay?" Kaoru called from outside the changing room. "Any altercations needed?"

"No, it's perfect! I love it, thanks guys!"

"Can we see you in it, or do we have to wait?"

"You've got to wait! I won't let the others see it yet, so you can't either." I grinned.

"Take it off then, you have to be a host before you're a lady!" Hikaru sniggered.

"Hey, what about Haruhi? Why about her dress?" I started to unzip it.

"We've got something, but she's not aware of the plan yet." One disclosed.

"It's pink and comes down to mid calf."

"One of mother's designs."

"Oh, yeah, Tamaki mentioned your mother's a famous fashion designer."

I pulled on a white shirt, freshly ironed, and trousers. Then, a light blue tuxedo jacket.

"What time does the party begin?" I called out.

"Soon. So hurry up and get dressed. We've got wigs for you and Haruhi later, too."

"Oh, I'm so excited. Usually I'm not one for parties, but I'm sorta looking forward to this one, because I can hang out with you guys." I nearly tripped over pulling on my shoes. I looked in the mirror. In less than a minute, I had been transformed from a princess to a prince. Opening the curtains, I saw Hikaru and Kaoru leaning against the wall, waiting for me.

"Finally, you're ready." Kaoru rolled his eyes, and put his arm around my shoulder, guiding me quickly towards the door.

"Wait- how will I know when to get changed? Will we not be missed?" I questioned as I was dragged along by Kaoru, with Hikaru walking behind us, holding the big dress bag, which contained the perfect gown.

"Don't worry about a thing. We've got it all sorted." Hikaru called. I shrugged and just let the twins run with me down the corridor.

Less than ten minutes later, the ball had begun. We were in a huge hall, with chandeliers lining the ceiling, dozens of girls wearing beautiful dresses in so many colours, a rainbow of silk. The entire host club stood at the top of a wide set of stairs, as Tamaki announced the beginning of the dance.

"My little lambs who have gathered here tonight, Ouran Host Club bids you a fond welcome to this dance party!" He bows. The music begins playing, and all the girls applaud.

"We invite you to enjoy yourself to your heart's content as you dance with the host club members." Kyoya gestures to us all as he speaks. "And the guest declared the best dancer, will be tonight's queen and will receive a passionate kiss on the cheek from our king."

"Good luck to you, baby!" Tamaki winks at the audience of girls, who react wildly. Hopefully they don't notice me rolling my eyes. Haruhi looks bored, and I nudge her with my elbow.

"Haru, look a little more excited, eh? It's gonna be fun!"

"Yes, your enthusiasm is low." Hikaru comments.

"I'm not used to this kind of thing. The only dance party I've been to before was a festival at the neighbouring park..."

"You can't really call that a dance party." Kyoya raises his eyebrow slightly. "Anyway, whilst you're here, you might as well try the cuisine."
