I was amazed by what we saw. I had been let out late of class, as I was being berated by a teacher for "insubordination". Haruhi had waited outside of the classroom for a good fifteen minutes, waiting for the teacher to finally stop ranting. When we finally arrived at the music room, it was unrecognisable. It had been changed into a tropical paradise. All the boys waited inside, under the branches of the exotic trees. They were all topless, wearing brightly coloured skirts.

"Pfft, haha! Why are you all wearing skirts?" I strode towards them, rolling my eyes. Haruhi didn't even realise I was speaking for a moment, she was still staring at the room that was now a rain forest.
"Why, dear sister, we are dressed as Balinese royalty!"
I just snorted. "Where's our costumes then? I hope we're not topless." I gestured to Haruhi and I.

"Twins, show them their costumes." Tamaki reclined in his chair, like a prince, called out, like he was addressing his servants. I walked over to Mori and Honey. Mori-Senpai was holding a pineapple, for some weird reason. I smiled at him, knowing he wouldn't mind if I borrowed his pineapple for a few moments, and pulled it out of his hands. I then threw it, full force, at my Baka brother's stomach. It winded him, knocking him right out of the chair he was lounging on. Everyone burst out laughing at his wounded face, excepting Mori, who just looked on, amused.

"Chihiro, why would you do that?" The Baka exclaimed. I bowed, as if I was a great actor at the end of a magnificent performance.
"Princess Baka, you had it coming! You're being bossy to us little ones. Just cause you're older than us four first-years doesn't mean you can boss us around!"
"I am the king of the host club! You are all my subjects!" He stood up, dramatically gesturing to the rest of us.
"Whatever, Tamaki, you're being dramatic." I walk off, pulling Haruhi, with the twins trailing behind us.

"So, why'd you get held back this time, Chi?" One of the twins draped his arm over my shoulder.
"For insubordination, apparently."
"Chi, you were being insubordinate! You stood up and told her that she was wrong, and she should double check her facts about history, and that she was a bad excuse of a history teacher!" Haruhi relayed to the boys. They both sniggered.
"Yep, that sounds about right." The other twin, the one not leaning on my shoulder, ruffled my hair up.
"Why does that sound about right?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Because you try to start fights with people on a daily basis. I'm surprised nobodies handed your ass to you by now."

"Well, somebody has." I mumble.
"Wait, what? Who's beat you up?" The twins look murderous at my comment. The fact that they would fight someone for me is sweet, but they need to chill out.
"Eh, don't worry about it, we have ladies to talk to."
"Now, get out please." Haruhi smiles at them. They look confused for a moment, then realise we are waiting for them to leave before we can change.
"Are you sure you want us to leave?" One of them asks cheekily. Haruhi glares at them both until they step out and pull the curtains shut. We both laugh at their swift retreat after Haruhi's scary glare.

The clothes that we have to wear are similar to the boys', but with ours, we have a loose cream top. Haruhi's skirt is red with gold edges, and mine is purple. Around our necks, hangs golden chains.

"We look dapper as heck!" I spin around, looking at my outfit from all angles in the mirror. Waltzing out of the changing room, I see that the ladies have all already arrived. I walk over to my area, where a few girls wait, sat on the red velvet couch. Upon seeing me, they all immediately all coo at me. I don't understand why! I'm not cute! They all seem to think I am though, so I just play along. I grin widely at them, as I sit down. They all just smiled looking at me, not even saying anything. It was sorta creepy...
"Tea, anyone?" I asked them.

Eventually, they were all aimlessly chatting at me. Every now and then I nodded or shook my head, or made the appropriate noise. I sort-of blanked out, not really listening, until one of the girls asked me a question.

"What do you think of the dance party coming up, Chihiro?"
"Dance party? I didn't realise there was one!"
They all giggle at my reaction. Giggle giggle giggle. I don't really like giggly girls. I mean, yeah, everyone giggles, but this is a ridiculous amount of giggling. They're pretty annoying, but I don't want to upset them, so I just smile.

They all warble in about what dresses they're wearing, and again, I blank out. I'm not really interested in which girl is wearing what colour.

I look over to Haruhi's table, and see a girl with short hair looking at her intensely. She's holding her chin, as if she's inspecting Haru. It's creepy.

After the ladies have departed, we wait back for a few hours, as we have to plan the dance party. Most of us are sat around a table, with Kyoya typing away at his laptop. I'm sat between Kaoru and Kyoya, so I can see what he's typing. My brother, however, is sat on the other side of the room, sulking.

"Why's he sulking now?" I lean over to Kyoya. He smiles at me, as we've both known that Baka for the longest. We both know he tends to act like a toddler if he's angry about something.

"One of his clients doesn't like him anymore. She's moved on to Haruhi. Usually, a client has a favourite host, and tends to stay with that host. But this girl, Kanako, keeps swapping her favourite on a regular basis." He whispers back.
"Wandering host-hopping disease." Hikaru adds.
"Before Haruhi, her favourite was Tamaki, wasn't it?" Honey asks.
"So, the reason why he's sulking... is because he's angry that he had his guest taken away from him." Haruhi contemplates.

"No! No, it's not! It's because you are a girl, and you should act like one! You should dress like one!" Tamaki rants in anger.
"Why must you be so popular with the girls, whilst you are a girl?!"

I clear my throat. "Tamaki, calm down. You're being a little hypocritical, you let me be a boy."

Tamaki just ignores me, and carries on ranting.
"The only ones who know she is a girl is in this club!"
"Well, she opted out of taking gym class..." Kaoru mumbles. One glare from me makes him shut his mouth immediately. Tamaki pulls out a huge portrait of a girl with long hair with a fringe, who looks exactly like Haruhi. It takes me a moment to realise, it is Haruhi.
"Daddy wants to see you the way you were back then!" He shouted, whilst gesturing wildly to the huge portrait.
"Stop blowing up my pictures without asking me!" Haruhi shouts back.

"Mommy, tell her!" Tamaki moans.

"Who's mommy?" I leaned to the twins, wondering if I had missed something.

"From a club point of view, me." Kyoya shrugged.

"Whoa, that's what you looked like?" All the attention turned to the huge portrait.
"How did this become that?"
"Why did you cut your hair, Haruhi? You looked really pretty!" Honey says.
"The day before enrolment, some kids in my neighbourhood stuck gum in my hair. It would be a real pain to get out, so I just cut it all off." She shrugged.

A few moments later, the attention turned to me.
"Wait, why did you cut your hair, Shihiro?" One of the twins asked, curiously. Everyone forgot the previous conversation, and they all looked towards me. I blushed bright pink, I didn't want to admit anything to them yet, but now's a good time as any. I stare at the floor as I begin.

I don't want them to know I am weak. I can be strong. I just have to tell them.
