It was true. Heine did like you. Very much so indeed. He liked you, but wouldn't say anything or try anything. He'd just be happy watching you, even if it made him sad.
In fact, he knew where you were. In the gardens, in a tree, like you have done for a long time now. He wouldn't force you to come to lessons, after all, he hated seeing you do stuff you didn't want to do, he cared too much to do that.
You hadn't noticed the time, and it was already night, with the silver moonlight resting on your face as you slept. The silent sound of the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves of trees comforted you as you snoozed. Heine realised that you still hadn't gone inside yet, and naturally, became concerned. He walked outside to got to your tree, and heard snoring. He sighed with a hint of relief. You were okay, just sleeping.
He climbed the tree, being careful not to wake you up. He smiled as he saw your peaceful face.
"Y/N... you need to stop skipping lessons, they're for you.. to be the queen.. I'm not mad at you.. I love you too much to be mad.."
He smiled and stroked your hair for ten minutes before gently picking you up bridal style and climbing down the tree. He walked with you in his arms all the way to your room without being noticed.
Upon entering your room, the sweet smell of roses, vanilla and candy travelled up Heine's nose. It was your intoxicating scent. Your custom perfume, that's originally only for you.
He loved it, whenever he smelt it, his heart skipped a beat. He glanced at your fresh silk bedsheets, and gently placed you down on your bed. He didn't want to change you, but he wanted to stay by your side, not just for tonight but forever...

You woke up to hear someone snoring quietly beside you. You peeked open your eyes to see Heine in your bed, asleep in his clothes from the previous day.
Why... is he here? How did I get here?
I must've fell asleep outside.. but how did Heine find me..? Wait. Has he known where I've hidden for the past months..?
"..H-ah.. H-Heine.?" You called out, waiting for a response. He didn't give one, and all that was replied was a somewhat relaxed and happy snore. The golden sun peeked through the giant glass window, softly caressing Heine's cherry red hair. His small somewhat childish face smiled as he slept. He looked incredibly cute and happy, like an innocent child. You smiled upon seeing such an adorable sight.
"You know... this is why.. I like you Heine.. you may act all cold and strong and all, but inside.. you're a cute, innocent man."
You said, quietly to no one in particular. You got out of bed, and went to the bathroom, drawing a hot bath and then soaking in it for a while. When you got out of the bath and changed, you saw a note left on your desk, and your bed that had been made.
'Dear Princess Y/N,
I apologise for sleeping in your bed last night, it was rather indecent of me.
I would hope to see you today for private tutoring.
Signed Heine, your Professor.'
"Private tutoring? Yeah right.. I'm so not going... but I would like to see him again.."

The morning passed by quickly, and your private tutoring lessons were about to begin, but you hadn't shown up. However, Heine was already waiting for you in the gardens. You entered the garden to be greeted by those familiar lovely red eyes and cherry hair.
"Princess Y/N, your lesson begins now."
You rolled your eyes.
"Please Heine, just call me Y/N."
"Fair enough Y/N."
He walked up to you and held your delicate hand. You blushed a bit, but went along with it. You were both walking through the gardens, holding hands, in a somewhat peaceful silence with the occasional bird chirping a tune.
"I'm tired.." you said as you sat down on a nearby bench.
"Already tired? It's only 1pm."
"I don't care, I'm still tired"
"You're so lazy Y/N."
"Anyways.. how did you find me last night, Heine?"
"W-Well, I was a bit concerned when you hadn't came inside last night, so I went to your favourite place to hide, and there you were, asleep."
"T-Thank you.." a blush painted it's self onto your face.
"It's no problem. Anyways we must move onto your lesson."
He taught you the basics to being a queen, and how to make decisions. You were struggling to concentrate, you kept thinking of Heine, and how he slept beside you. You had a comfortable sleep that night with Heine next to you.
You wish that you could sleep next to him more often. As you were day dreaming, Heine began to realise you weren't paying attention.
"Y/N. Y/N! Y/N!!" He sighed before shaking his head. He sat down beside you and closed his eyes, listening to the chirp of birds. It was rare to get moments when you can just listen to the things around you and enjoy the little things in life. Little did you both know that Licht was watching you two.

Later that night, Licht confronted you.
Licht knocked on your door.
"Hey, big sister Y/N?"
"Hey Licht, come in."
He opened your door and sat on a sofa near the coffee table. You smiled at him brightly, you loved everyone in your family, so whenever someone wanted to talk to you, you were always happy to talk.
"So, what's bothering you, Lichtieee?"
He began twiddling his fingers.
"Well, um.. Y/N, you don't happen to... like Heine.. do you?"
You were shocked and flustered. How did he know?! You could feel your face beginning to go red.
"Okay.. you promise you won't tell anyone, right? Well I... do like him."
Licht just smiled.
