Who is that Cali girl? She seems awesome but I feel like I'm not her type since she is popular.

After school ended I went to go meet up with Ethan on the bus. Ethan waved to me and I sat down next to him.

"What's up bro?" Ethan said to me and I was sitting down.

"Ehh, the usual." I said.

"Thinking about stuff?" Ethan took a good look at me and noticed I was not myself.

I nodded and looked down.

"What happened?" Ethan said.

"It just makes me sad how no girl is ever going to like me." I said and it looked like I was about to cry.

"Bro, what are you talking about? You are amazing. Any girl who falls in love with you is very lucky. You know that? I love you Grayson. It will get better." Ethan said looking at me and put a smile on his face making me start to slightly smile.

Ethan always makes things better for me. Ethan smiled and we did our handshake.

Then all of the sudden, Cali walked onto our bus. Oh, great.

"Hey Cali!" Ethan said and waved to her.

Cali smiled and waved back and sat next to Audrey on the bus.

I am so confused. How does Cali know Ethan?

"Hold up. How do you know Cali?" I asked Ethan quietly.

"Oh yeah, I bumped into her in the hallway. She was thinking I was you and I told her I'm your twin. She seems really nice. You should talk to her but now I'm noticing that she's friends with Audrey..." Ethan said.

"Yeah she will talk shit about us. She probably has already." I said looking down.

"It's okay bro. Wait for Friday night it's gonna be awesome!" Ethan said patting my shoulder.

I smiled noticing how fun it is probably gonna be. Cali isn't gonna let me down. So many other girls are gonna be there!

When we arrived at our stop went to get up to leave our bus, Cali said with a big smile "Grayson, I will see you tomorrow!" I looked at her and slightly smiled and sorta sped walk out of the bus.

When we got out of the bus, I saw Audrey yelling at Cali. Probably saying not to talk to us.

"Bro, she is so nice!" Ethan said and was probably more excited than I was that Cali talked to me.

I smiled and we kept walking to our house.

"Maybe she is different than Audrey. Audrey is maybe her only friend right now. You should become friends with her!" Ethan said making me so excited.

"Yeah, maybe I should." I was holding onto the straps on my backpack and was thinking about everything.

"By the way, I was wondering why we took the bus today to school. We have cars." I said laughing.

"For you to meet girls! Why else?" Ethan laughed and punched my shoulder.

We were both laughing and then I thought about something.

"Bro do you notice Cali has a British accent? Not gonna lie that's kinda hot. I bet boys are all over her." I said thinking about Cali and smiling.

"True, but she talked to you!" Ethan went to unlock the door.

My mom was sitting at the table this random person.

"Hey boys, how was school?" My Mom asked us while drinking coffee.

"It was great." I said smiling.

Ethan nodded also agreeing with me.

"Great, there is someone I wanted you guys to meet. This is Lauren Andrews. She just moved and lives a few blocks down. She has a good daughter named Cali. You might know her?" My Mom said to us.

Ethan and I looked at each other so surprised and looked back at my mom and Cali's mom.

"Yes I do. Nice to meet you Miss. Andrews." I said and went to shake her hand and so did Ethan.

"Nice to meet you boys! Cali and I will be coming to dinner on Saturday. Can't wait!" Cali's mom said smiling.

Ethan and I walked upstairs and we went into our room.

"Wow I can't believe it." I said as I went onto my bed and Ethan went onto his.

"I know it's crazy. Cali is coming over for dinner!" Ethan said to me as he was smiling.

"I have a good feeling about this school year." I said as I was thinking about all the positive things.

I really do have a good feeling about it. Imagine me having a girlfriend and actually being excited to go to school?
