--ROBIN--

It's been a while since I've been on a date.

When he picked me up he told me a little bit of what he had planned for the day.

Our first stop was the smoothie place and then we started to walk a little bit down the street towards a lake where there was a park, places to sit, paddle boats, fishing boats and there were some people there walking around and hanging out.

The view was very nice and the breeze was perfect.

We sat down on the edge by the lake, drinking our smoothies and enjoying the view along with each other's company.

"So have you always wanted to be a writer?" He asks me.

"In a way, yeah. Ever since I was little I would always create stories and characters to help me escape from reality. It helped me survive from bullies and my drunk aunt that raised me." I tell him not realizing I had just told him one of my deepest secrets.

"So you're aunt raised you?" He asks curiously.

"Yeah. Both my parents died in a car crash when I was eight years old and since she was the only family I had at the time, she became my legal guardian until I was eighteen, then I left." I tell him.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear about your parents." He says.

"It's okay. They were the idiots as they were both high and drunk that night and drove right into a tree." I say.

"Shit." He says before taking a few drinks from his smoothie.

"Yeah well, I'm good now." I smile hoping he will not ask me another question that would make me tell more of the story.

We both shared a brief moment of silence before I said something.

"What about you?" I began asking him. "How about your parents and you being the president of a big fearful biker gang?" I smiled.

"Club. There's a difference." He smiles as he corrects me.

           "Sorry, that's right." I reply.

"To answer your question though, no, I had not always wanted to become the president of a bikers club. In fact, the only reason I took over the club is cause of my dad. After my mom left when I was four years old, it was just me and my dad. He raised me and was the president of this club for many years. I tried going down a different path then my dad and I know he also wanted a different life for me too. However, when I became sixteen and after the fact I was in a way labeled already as my dad's son and knowing his reputation, I felt I had no other choice." He stops and looks off to the side a little bit and I know it's cause he's trying to hide from any tears that might be falling from his eyes any minute.

I'm glad he shared all that with me. It really has helped me see another side to him. A genuinely nice and humble side.

I don't know what made me do the next thing but I placed my hand on his back and then quickly dug up some courage to turn his head back to face me and I placed my lips onto his and kissed him. I guess I just couldn't help it or resist anymore.

He was gonna push me away any second, I just knew it. Or at least that's what I thought until his hand touched the side of my face while we began making out and drowning out everything and everyone around us.

When we pulled apart a little bit to catch our breaths, we look at each other and then I nervously bite my lap a little bit.

"Your lips taste so good." He says.

"It's the smoothie." I reply like an idiot.

"You are so cute." He chuckles.

"I know." I reply sarcastically while flipping my hair back a little bit.

"Come here." He says and then leans my head forward and kisses me again.

*****************************************

After the lake, we headed towards the diner and talked some more and continued to get to know each other more.

I gotta say that I really am liking him the more I'm finding out.
