Mia's POV
My name is Mia Greenwood. I'm the wife of the Prime Minister and I have one of the most difficult life in London. I have one daughter Talia and a stepdaughter Katlin. Talia is a very promising and productive child. She is the General Manager of her father. She makes me very proud. Katlin on the other hand, is not my biological child. She surprises me every day. There is something she is hiding from us. We know she is a gang leader but whenever I ask her why she chose that path she changes the subject. As cover for this malicious crime, she is secret security. One day I promise I will find out about her little secret.
It was 10 am, and the meeting with the board group was set to begin in 20 minutes. They were there to discuss starting a new project on renewable energy for both their office place and the Parliament of Westminster. My husband was already dressed in his finest suit, and I could tell he was excited about the meeting.
"Where are the girls?" he asked, checking his watch.
"Don't worry, they'll be here soon," I reassured him.
Queen B and I stood at the window overlooking the busy London streets as we waited for them.
"I hear Talia and Katlin are doing great things," Queen B remarked, smiling to herself.
"Yes, Talia is the General Manager of her father's business, and Katlin is a secret security agent," I said, proud of my daughters.
"Wow, they are impressive. What about their personal lives?" Queen B inquired.
"Katlin is a gang leader, but she keeps it a secret. Talia is more focused on her career, but she's been dating someone for a while now or so she says. I am waiting to meet the guy," I replied.
Suddenly outside the window, we observed Talia and Katlin's ex-boyfriend Sean conversing.
"You know they would make a great couple," I said to Queen B jokingly.
"Yeah," she answered not taking her eyes off them. A smile curled up on her face and deep down I knew she was planning something. Very soon Sean left in his car and Talia went up to the front door.
We settled into the conference room of the luxurious building as my husband outlined ideas for the use of renewable energy for both their office place and the parliament of Westminster. He was sure as prime minister he could win over this company board and proceed with the project in the upcoming months. Talia seem very interested in this and was taking notes. Everyone listened carefully and silently while the Prime Minster spoke. He gave a very interesting speech which got the board's attention. After the discussion went on for about 2 hours non-stop, it came to a smooth conclusion. The board left the room leaving us to ourselves.
"I would like to introduce my new boyfriend," Katlin said pointing to a handsome guy beside her. He was once an enemy of a different gang, but then he joined her gang and was her friend.
"Another one," Talia said in sarcasm.
"He is really cute," Katlin's best friend said getting the boy to smile at her. She too was a gang member but hardly spoke to him.
"Yes go on," My husband said.
"Ok so this is Dylan, my boyfriend," Katlin informed us.
"What happened to Sean?" I questioned her. Talia's face changed to a different expression at the mention of his name.
"We broke up and if I see him again I will kill him," she said in utter seriousness.
"Alright, that's my cue. Let's order lunch," I suggested.
