The female fox stood in her dark cave. Her light green eyes glowed in the dim light. She sniffed the air. She has come at last.
A black she-cat with deep blue eyes walked into view from a tunnel that connected the the cavern they stood in, one of many entrances. "Hello Crest, my dear, how goes the tribe?" the she-cat's voice rang out.
"All is well, Starktail." Crest gently said. "Have you come to affirm our deal?"
"Yes, yes I have." Starktail said. "You shall get the land in exchange for defending us against Blazeclan attacks in that area. The inhabitants are yours to deal with of course. They are weak. Foxes may be sly, but they are noble and have lots of honor."
"We thank you." Crest said. "How fares the she-kit whom I ordered my mate to injure?"
"Sage-eye?" Darktail asked. "Oh she fares well. She even got burned in that are as well. Technically her official warrior name is Burnscar."
"They are very despicable cats." Crest said, very disgusted. "Shall we go discuss this in further detail?"
Starktail nodded and she followed Crest into the tunnels. We shall have our land soon, Crest thought, and our tribe shall suffer no more.
