Cracking in the Wind

I looked up and the man from the car was coming towards me.
"Lets not make this harder than it has to be...I don't want to hurt you like I did your friend".
I stared him in his dark sunglasses...all can see the vague reflection of myself in them. I look down at the glass filled concrete in front of me. I placed my hand over one of the glass shards in front in me, and placed in the pocket inside my jacket. The only option I had was to run quickly...this guy was ten times bigger and stronger than me. I got up and turned around and attempted to takeoff.
The big man grabbed my hoodie before I could even take a step forward. He lifted me up and tossed me upon his shoulder.
"Your best option is to not try anything" he threatened.
I looked around and I couldn't see nothing but abandoned house and broken street lights. There wasn't anyone around so screaming wasn't a choice either. The closer we moved toward the car I thought to myself "Would bodily harm cause him to drop me if I can cause enough pain to do so"?
I looked at the side of his face. We were at the car and he grabbed his keys to unlock the back door.
I quickly turned my head and bit his ear off the side his face. He threw me to the ground and started to wail like a monster . Blood was gushing from the side of his head, he covered it with his hand and stumbled against the car.
I spit the piece of ear out of my mouth and sprinted across the street with tears flying from my eyes. As was running I looked back and saw the back of Amber's head in the front of the car. I turned around and tripped over the curb and hit my knee. I looked back to see the man start to come get up and make his way around the car. I got up and started quickly limp around the next corner.
My house was a few blocks away from the the vidock which was eleven blocks west of me, but I knew a quicker way. I made my way down a street of abandoned houses. My knee was still aching from that fall a few minutes ago. It was very cold fall day...on top of that my best friend is dead, my knee is killing me, and there's a psycho man chasing for some reason I don't know of.
I turn and make my way between two abandoned apartment buildings. Suddenly a pulse of aching pain struck through my body. I could no longer go on. My knee was begging me to stop.
Soon I stop and hopped between a red brick apartment building. I sat down and lifted my pants leg. My knee was extremely swollen and throbbing with pain! I wanted to scream as loud as a banshee! To my side an outline of a mans shadow appear in the street lights. I knew it was him, and I can hardly stand to run. As the shadow got closer, in a window above me, a light cut on.
"HELPPP"!!!!! I yelled to the top of my lungs.
I heard footsteps rush down the stairs and the door flew open. A boy ran out looking around...soon his eyes were planted on me.
"Anyla"?, The voice questioned?
The voice sounded so familiar.
"Tylon"? I cried, "Help me, please help me...please".
He got closer and saw how beat up I was. He walk near me and bent down.
"What happened to you ma"? He asked with a sense of concern.
I looked back and couldn't see the shadow of the man anymore. I looked around where we were...and...nothing was to be seen. All you could hear is the crickets chirping and the wind cracking.
"Tylon, can you just please hurry and get me in...the...house"! I growled.
"Chill out, I got you" he said as he picked me up and carried me up to his apartment building. He stopped and locked the door when we got in.
I sigh of relief came from deep inside me, yet I couldn't help but feel it's not over.
