Connor slammed the door to his apartment shut. He almost lost it there at school. He never in a thousand year though someone would get murder here. The fact that the killer was still out there was worse. Connor had to go hunting tonight the smell of that girls blood was so tempting and he needed his strength. Connor went out the door and slipped into the dark.
**************** Macy's House*********************
Macy's family had sat down for dinner. Macy was very quite and deep in though. What was she going to do. She can't tell her parents. Macy's dad was the first to notice Macy's silence.
"Macy you uhh ok?" Macy's dad asked alittle worried.
"What? uh yeah yeah I'm fine just yeah I'm fine." Macy's said she knew she had said fine twice but that was just to reassure her dad she was ok, but really it was to see if she was ok.
"Ok well you know you can talk to us ok?" Macy's dad said holding Macy's mom's hand and smiling.
"Thanks!" Macy said she didn't want to be here she had stuff to take care of.
When Macy was done with dinner she went up stairs to her bedroom. She need to talk to Jade and Liz. Macy sent a quick text saying
---------Meet me at the park at 10----- it's important
Macy went to take a shower and then started to get dressed. Macy grabbed some sport shorts and a baggy sweatshirt and so sneakers and sneaked down the stairs. Macy's parents were already in bed so it was easy for her to get out. Macy closed the front door as quietly as she could and put up her hood and started to walk to the park.
The air was cool and brisk and Macy's foot steps were the only sound other than the flicker of the street lights. As Macy continued to the park she started to feel anxious. When Macy turned the corner for the park she almost screamed but it got caught in her throat. It was just Liz and Jade who also jumped alittle.
"Sorry guys." Macy said feeling a little stupid.
"It's cool so what's up?" Asked Jade who was sitting on a swing.
"Well ok so today when I got home from school there was a little green paper stuck to my mirror and" Macy started but Jade interrupted.
'Wait what did you say?" Jade said. Jade looked she had seen a ghost.
"I said there was a tiny green paper stuck to me mirror and it said" Macy said repeating herself.
"It's only going to get worse." All the girls said at once.
Macy looked at Jade and Liz things were about to get difficult. Macy sat down on the swing next to Jades.
"What could this mean?" Liz asked also taking a seat on the swings.
"I don't know Liz but I think whatever happened to Chloe today is just the beginning." Jade said staring at her feet.
Macy was again deep in thought then it hit her.
"Guys we have to keep a eye on things ok?" Macy said.
"How are we going to do that?" Liz asked kinda puzzled.
"Well I don't know yet but I'll tell ya tomorrow ok?" Macy said standing up from the swing to say good bye to her friends.
"See ya Macy" Jade said heading off towards her house.
"Night Liz " Macy said as Liz gave Macy a hug and headed of.
Macy sat there thinking what was she going to do? Then it hit her why is she trying to solve this. Who is she to think she can stop whatever this is, but that's the thing it takes someone with strength to do something no one else can. Macy got up and went back to her house. When she got to her bedroom she took a blue sticky note and wrote on the front "Bring it" and put it on her mirror.
The next morning Macy left for school she meet up with Liz and Jade at the door of the school.
"So you think of something yet?" Jade asked as they walked to class.
"Not yet but I think I'm getting close." Macy said.
"Liz you ok?" Macy asked Liz had been quite the whole time.
"What uh yeah I'm just super tired" Liz said yawning.
As Macy went her separate way she saw Connor at his locker. This is my chance she though as she walked over to his locker.
"Hey I'm Macy you must be Connor?" Macy said sticking out her hand for Connor to shake. Yet he did ot shake it he just kinda stood there.
"Look um I I have to get to class um it was nice meeting you." Connor said as he slide past Macy to get to class. Macy reached out to grab him and Connor's head flew back to look at her.
"We will talk later right?" Macy said trying to get some insurance that he would talk to her.
"Right." Connor said and turned and walked away.
Macy was confused but she was happy she could have so insurance that he would talk to her later. When Macy got to her class she got out her book and tried her best to pay attention but she couldn't. Macy turned around and saw Nate staring at her. Macy turned around and stayed looking forward the rest of the class period. What could Nate want with her again?
When the bell rang Macy went straight to her locker. When she opened her locker a little green piece of paper fluttered out of it. Macy picked it up quickly and read the note.
"You have no idea what's coming?" the note said. Macy paused so this is how it's going to go talking through notes. Macy turned the note around and wrote
"But I'll be ready" then she slammed her locker shut and started to walk to her next class.
Things were about to get interesting.
